Chapter Eighteen: Relationships

Shan POV:

It has been one month since Marvin's father had an accident and now Marvin's father is still in a coma.

Marvin's father is now in a private room because he was in the ICU before Marvin's father's condition improved and has been moved to a private room.

The doctor said that there is a big chance that Marvin's father has recovered. That's why they can't answer me when Marvin's father will wake up.

I've also been busy with photoshoots, Marvin and I are already talking on a video call.

Sometimes we don't understand each other like now.

I take out my anger on a punching bag. I think about my last conversation with Marvin. I admit that I used to be a playboy but I have changed since I met Marvin.

"Did you wave at my son-in-law?" I turned to my father.

"Dad," I took my boxing gloves.

"I'm sure it's your fault," I just didn't answer.

"Don't prolong your fight," advised my father.

I remembered that Marvin's mother belonged to them, that she was my father's ex-girlfriend. And he is my mother's best friend.

"Why can you look at me like that?" he touched his cheek.

"Dad, did you go with mom and Marvin's mother?" My father patted me on the head.

"I didn't put them together even if you ask your mother!" he said seriously.

"Why is your girlfriend still your best friend with so many girls?" he flicked my forehead.

"Dad!" I touch my forehead.

Later he started talking and I found out that my father lost his memory at the same time Marvin's mother disappeared they just found out that he married someone Marvin's mother didn't want in a short arranged marriage.

My father never thought that he would fall in love with my mother.

If my father's memory did not disappear, what would be the result?

"Dad when did your memory come back?" I asked my father.

"Last month," said my father.

"Son, what happened to us won't happen to you. You're different, so that's just part of the past, the present is important," as he patted my shoulder.

Later I got a call from Marvin who said his father had woken up. And he also apologized for being jealous.

I also apologized to him when he said that his older sister's car was there.

The next day At the resort, I come out of my room and Marvin immediately sneaks up behind me and childishly covers my eyes with his hands."Love," Marvin just hugs me from behind" How did you know it was me?". I turned to him and kissed him.

"I know the smell of your lotion as well as your perfume," he just pouted his lips.

"I brought food," he showed the paper bag he was carrying.

I found out that they also had a shooting at the resort where I did the photoshoot.

As we are eating, the sprinkler in front of us goes off and drenches us.

Since he can't just sit around in his wet clothes, Marvin is forced to wear some of mine as he waits for us to dry. I snicker at him when he comes out and tells him to just bear with it for a bit. Good thing I have extra clothes.

Marvin then tells me that he's going to stay the night, and I'm thinking of something else Marvin then says that he's doing it so that I don't have to stay all alone here, and I am disappointed.

"I'm still going to the hospital so it's not possible," said Marvin.

Marvin then sees a camera and can't help but snap a few pictures. As we sit on the bed, I ask him about his father. He tells me his father went to therapy and his father's condition is fine. I try to seduce him goes straight into the line about feeling something different about Marvin as soon as I saw him. His face turned red as I slowly move my head forward as if to kiss him, but I stop midway to tease him about how much he liked me. Marvin decides to take revenge on me and pulls me back down onto the bed as I stand up. he whispers for me not to go to the hospital tonight and closes his eyes. Marvin, however, can't go through with it, but I tell him, he can't back out since he started this. I whisper back that I won't let him go home and lean in for the kiss.

The next day, Marvin woke up early to go to the hospital.

"Love, I'll go with you to the hospital," as I hugged him.

"You still have a photoshoot, I'll call you when I'm at the hospital," he kissed me on the lips.

After he left, Punpun called me. I said I was on my way.

As I walk back, I run into Nong'Tina. I know Nong'Tina's not all she seems and asks why I hang around Marvin. Nong'Tina shoots back that she's heard a lot about Marvin as well. She tells me that she won't let me have Marvin since I'm only hers. He won't let me go to Marvin. I tell her that I love Marvin and that I only think of him as a younger sister and that our families are blessed.

"Does he know that your father's first love is his mother? " I just laughed at what he said.

"We're not in lakorn we're in reality, you're curious if he knows so I can tell you that yes he knows and it's not a big deal," I left him and called Ice to his younger sister.
