Chapter Thirteen: "Encounter"
3rd POV:
A girl then comes out of nowhere and wraps him in a hug. Ice's sister has arrived. As the two catch up, the two go inside and Ice is surprised to see that his sister came directly to the cafe first instead of greeting their parents. She tells him to call them for her and asks Shan if he wants to go eat. He declines and says he's going to lie down because he's tired from work. She then asks why he's not going home then and Ice starts to say that Shan's staying here, but stops when he sees them all making wild gestures at him. However, She has figured out their secret and says in that case she's moving in here too. Ice quickly tries to cover his mistake and says that the extra room has already been rented out. He's lying though and goes into the other room, which allows Ice to apologize to a furious Shan.
The next days, Ice buys Marvin a can of beer and Ice jokes that they should be drinking buddies after seeing Marvin's excited reaction. The two started to talk.
"I have a friend who redesigned the garden, it's a shame because of your garden," Marvin said to Ice.
"Alright, but give me a discount," Ice said to Marvin when Marvin's cussword ringtone rang and he immediately answered it.
"Ice, I'll go ahead of you, there's an emergency," Marvin said and said goodbye to Ice.
Meanwhile, Singto gets home and is surprised that there are many flowers in their living room with Mookda waiting for him. She says that she wanted to have a dinner date with him.
"My wife is sweet," he kissed Mookda and sat down.
They had dinner together and Singto asked what good thing happened to him and he said the same.
They also talked about their children.
Their conversation turns to Heart and Mookda says that he saw Heart and her husband.
He is happy because their friendship is still strong and both are happy with their families.
"That's good," said Singto to Mookda.
"Singto, I have one more surprise for you," Singto smiled and carried Mookda as his bridal carry.
Back at his studio, Shan is browsing through the pictures on his computer and is surprised when Marvin's face comes up on the screen. He quickly closes it when Ice walks in and asks if he can use the room that Shan wanted to rent.
"Why?" Shan asked Ice.
"Marvin's friend Jay approached the condominium and I thought he was renting one room," said Ice.
"It's fine with me," Shan said.
"He's moving tomorrow, right now he's with Marvin," said Ice.
In Marvin's new condo unit, Jay and his girlfriend were there.
They didn't save anyone but themselves because of the size of the crowd.
"Marvin, I'm sorry for the trouble," said Jay.
"We're friends, so let's thank Ice because he still has a vacant room," said Marvin.
"Shan lives there too," said Jay.
"His studio isn't just there," Marvin said and put down the food he had cooked.
"How are you? Is your stalker not bothering you anymore?" Jay asked Marvin.
"Not yet but until he is caught I am still not reassured," said Marvin to Jay.
"Always be careful and be vigilant around you, it's a good thing you don't have social media anymore and security will be tight, especially near the police station," said Jay's girlfriend.
"Shan advised me not to do social media anymore, look at my phone when I was still middle-aged, but that's okay," said Marvin and showing him his 90s phone.
The next day Singto and Heart accidentally meet at a gallery exhibit.
"How are you?" Heart asked Singto.
"I'm fine," answered Singto.
They agreed with each other and Heart spoke first.
"Mookda and I met the other day," Heart said to Singto.
"That's what she told me," said Singto as he stared at the painting.
Heart also said goodbye to Singto.
After Heart left, Singto looked next to him. He saw the teenager's Heart.
He remembers Heart, this is the woman he first loved but they are not meant for each other.
He told Mookda that because he didn't want to lie to his wife.
He is also happy because they are both happy with their families.
They can't get back what they lost. The person is also gone because he lost his memories for many years.
At Marvin's restaurant, there was a package that was sent to him but there was no sender on it.
"P'Nine, don't open it and call the police," Marvin ordered and the manager of his restaurant did the same.
"Boss they said they are on their way," he said and Marvin ordered his staff to go back to work.
After a few hours, the police officers arrived and found a pig's head and a picture of his family as well as the people around him.
Marvin immediately called his family and his friends and the good thing is that nothing bad happened to his family or his friends.
Marvin has been given police protection and he has also asked for police protection from his family and friends.
He doesn't know what he did wrong and why this is happening to him.
Shan immediately rushed to Marvin's restaurant because of what happened.
"Marvin," he worried for Marvin.
"I'm fine," Marvin said and Shan just hugged him when Marvin saw his parents.
"He's my friend," Marvin said to his parents.
"We don't tell anything," said his father.
"I know that's how you look at it," Marvin said while Shan was in the hot seat.
Just after talking to him, he said his full name and how old he is and what his job is, and his bank account is missing. He would have said if he hadn't heard Marvin's parents laugh.
"Honey, our son's friend is cute," said Marvin's father.
"You are the son of Mookda and Singto, do you know that your mother is my best friend," Marvin's mother said and that's when he was reassured.
"Do you like rain too?" Marvin's mother asked and he just nodded.
