Chapter Twenty-Two: Let's start over again

(3rd POV)

Heart is reading sappy poetry to her husband and is caught by a smiling Marvin. She gets embarrassed that her son heard this and also her other two children are. Natalia mentions that they also played music for each other last night and jokes that it's a tad much to do this in front of her just as she's moved back. But she's happy if her mom's happy so it's okay. Marvin says that Shan is coming over so they should have dinner together.

Later, their uncle is there swimming and gets out of the pool to greet them. He offers Marvin that he will answer Shan and Marvin's honeymoon. Marvin was her advance wedding gift.

Marvin thanked his Uncle.

Later Heart comes into Marvin's room to ask her opinion on some clothes. Marvin objects to his mom's choice, saying that it would make Marvin look old wearing it. The heart then suggests that they should go shopping for new clothes, but Marvin says that they're going shopping for his mother. he said to his mother he's just going to wear a simple one-piece dress on the wedding day, and his mother says that he should talk to Shan. Marvin also said that he wanted to go to his restaurant.

Meanwhile, The three of them now go somewhere to talk, and Ice is forced to listen to the two of them talk. His father notices Ice staring at him and asks him what's wrong. Ice says it's nothing and changes the subject by asking him how the beach was. His mother asks how he knew about their trip and Ice covers himself by saying that his mother always said that she wanted to go to the beach with him. His father chuckles and says he did "something" really poorly and surprised his mother. Ice asks him what he did and his father proudly says he proposed again to his mother.

He is happy with his parents but he still can't get rid of the sadness he feels because Tina isn't there.

They can't visit the psychiatric hospital. He also can't blame his friends because of Tina's sin.

During the meal itself, Ice comments that the food is good, but based on the plate it looks like he hasn't touched his food. His mother tries to break the complete awkwardness of the meal by talking to him, but he's staying silent.

"Son, we know you're worried about your younger sister. Don't worry, they told us she's okay." said his father.

In a prison.

"How are you? Did you enjoy being here in prison?" Gulf bit her fingernails and took care of her and Natalia couldn't talk to her sensibly.

"Your older brother will be with you again. He became a bad boy so I just disciplined him but don't worry when you meet again I will have a party," said Natalia later he was about to strangle Natalia when the bodyguards grabbed her by Natalia.

"You and Tina, I will make your stay here in jail memorable, it's wrong that your best friend is in a psychiatric hospital," Gulf shouted.

"I have another good news for you, Marvin and Shan are getting married," he was pulled out of the jail.

They brought Gulf to the punishment room alone.

In the psychiatric hospital where Tina was there, she was alone, no matter what she screamed, and she was ignored.

Even when she said that she would give him a lot of money just to help her escape, he was still ignored.

Only bread and milk will be given to her. From morning to night thinks a lot about her family and Shan. Even because she hates Marvin.

"What did she do wrong?" she always asked herself.

The next day, Marvin came to Shan's house from his restaurant.
They talked about his wedding. Marvin still can't believe he's getting married.

He also said about what he will wear at his wedding and that he wants it to be simple.

"Shan, what is it about me and me that you loved? You don't know me Marvin anymore." Shan hugs Marvin tightly for a few more seconds before pulling away to wash up, barely able to contain the oncoming tears. he rejoins Marvin on the bed afterward, and he reminds him of the night they slept together, how he'd tell him why he was crying then, that he'd believe he loves him if he still does after hearing why, and finally, that he'd tell him that he loves him back. Holding his face in his hands, Shan warms him that his feelings for him may change afterward, but he'll swallow his fears and tell him since he feels that he can lower his defenses around him. "Because that's what love is to me." Marvin cries in Shan's embrace, and he tells him "I love you." Now Marvin repeats them back to him: "I love you a lot." He tells him he loves him again, comforting him.

The morning of the photoshoot. Shan opened it up, surprised to find the rabbit doll in the jacket pocket, along with a note. The note read: "Thanks to the rabbit doll you gave me, I no longer have nightmares. I'm so happy that I now have this family. With a small smile, Shan came to a decision and started to get dressed.

At the studio, Shan walks in moments before Marvin and their family get their photo taken.
