Chapter Twenty-Three: Here We Go Again

(3rd POV)

Tina is behind bars and faces to face with Ice.

Ice felt sorry for Tina's condition. He never thought that Tina's liking for Shan would reach this level.

"P'Ice, get me out of here," Tina said crying.

Tina is begging Ice, Tina says she is sorry and doesn't want to go to jail anymore.

"Don't you have friends who are police, judges, and lawyers, you can ask them for help. You can do more with Natalia" he said a lot more just so Ice could help him.

"If you don't let me out of jail, I'd rather die," Tina threatened Ice.

"P'Ice, I will forget everything you did to me as long as I get out of this stinking jail," Tina was later called by the jail guard because the visit was over.

Marvin and Shan are at the restaurant.

"Welcome back boss," Marvin's staff happily greeted him.

Marvin thanked his staff.

Little by little, Marvin's life is getting back to normal, he is still talking to his Psychiatrist and with the help of his friends and family, he is gaining confidence in himself.

He still feels a little scared when he thinks about what happened to him and is also angry at the one who did him wrong.

Ice still hasn't talked to them about what happened.

"What did you think?" Shan asked and he said he was just happy.

"We are going to our wedding venue," said Shan.

"Shan... Can we just have a simple wedding and only close friends and relatives are invited to our wedding? Let's just wear casual wedding attire because I'm not comfortable with many people," Marvin said to Shan.

"Okay," said Shan.

Shan understood Marvin. if Marvin wants a private and simple wedding.

Many people wanted to interview Marvin about what happened to him and Marvin rejected all of them.

Later, Shan noticed that Marvin cried.

"I'm just happy. I miss my kitchen and my cooking tools," Marvin said as he held the cooking tools.

"What food do you want, I'll cook for you," Marvin said happily.

In Natalia's company, her best friend went to help her with the bigotry she did to Gulf and Tina as well as to Gulf's family.

"Are you sure about your plan to give Gulf and his older brother to me," asked his friend.

"Yes, as long as you make sure to me that he can't get close to Nong'Marvin. I don't care what you do to him and his older brother," said Natalia.

"Okay, what are you planning on Nong'Tina." Natalia did not answer her friend's question.

Meanwhile, Jay threw a bachelor party for Marvin's close friends as well as Marvin's father and brother who were invited, he knows that Marvin is not very comfortable with other people.

He also talked to Shan about the party. He made sure there was no alcohol at the party.

He is happy for his friend because Marvin has overcome his dark past.

As for what happened to Marvin, he made sure that there would be no more interviews about what happened to Marvin. Marvin's parents begged that there would be no interview because Marvin does not want to go back to what happened to him.

That's also respect for Marvin. Marvin's doctor also told him not to remind Marvin of the trauma that Marvin experienced.

There is a possibility that Marvin will return to his old ways and they don't want that to happen.

Gulf and his older brother were called to jail.

They are in the same situation and they have taken care of themselves, especially Gulf.

They just follow the

When they entered the prison warden's office, they were introduced to someone who would help them get out of prison.
