Chapter Twenty-Six: Miss Psycho

3rd POV:

They went to visit Marvin again and when he saw them, Marvin hugged them.

Marvin also scolded Tina about what she was doing to him while Marvin hugged the rabbit doll that Shan gave him.

"He's mean to me but when there's someone else he's kind to me." He buried his face in the rabbit doll.

"Don't worry," said Marvin's mother.

"Mom, they're both boys," her mother calmed her down.

"Marvin, the man you're talking about won't hurt you anymore, and Tina won't hurt you either, I assure you of that." Marvin hugged Shan.

Shan ignores a frantic phone call from Tina, who fakes a burglary to lure him into her clutches. She creates a mess to make it look like her apartment was ransacked and plays the damsel in distress who needs a big strong man at her side but her plan didn't happen.

Shan has blocked Tina's number because Tina has not done well.

He believes what Marvin told them and his hunch is that Tina triggered Marvin's condition.

Marvin's condition is okay, at least because Marvin knows them better than before, and at least he answered soberly, so they are happy with Marvin's improvement.

Meanwhile, at Tina's condo unit, Ice did not expect to visit her when he saw her condo, he was worried because of the appearance of her condo.

She doesn't need Ice's concern, it's better than Shan getting better.

"Where is P'Shan, I can't contact him, maybe he's there with that crazy person, I'm his girlfriend but he thinks differently," Tina said angrily, which surprised Ice.

"I guess I misunderstood when you said that you were his girlfriend. Nong'Tina I reminded you that you are not his girlfriend. Especially don't say that Marvin is crazy. Tell the truth about what happened in your condo?" Tina did, she pushed Ice away but Ice didn't move.

He looks like he already knows the answer to his question. His younger sister Tina is pretending to be a victim.

"You thought that your lie that you were robbed would work and show mercy to Shan." Tina just looked at him as if she was saying that she didn't know what she was talking about.

"Go away," Tina shouted.

On their way back home, Jay tells her she's not cut out for revenge, and his wife insists that she can do it. Jay tries to convince her by telling her about his mother, the person he loves most in this world. He says that her mother wants to get her revenge as well, but she'll never be able to because she's too sensitive the second she lays eyes on her opponent, tears come flowing first. Jay: "Do you know why I became your husband in the first place? Because you are exactly like my mother. That means you'll never be able to get your revenge." It's sweet and a compliment, but it's not what his wife wants to hear right now.
She bangs her head against Jay's back in frustration. It's so cute that Jay is constantly this giant wall that she's running into and hanging off of in comical ways. Back at home his wife gets sworn in as a warrior, under the tutelage of Jin-ho asks her again if she feels the need to do this; he'd rather her just move on. His wife: "What about an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose?" Jay: "It's an eye for an eye...and a tooth for a tooth." Heh, well you said she'd be bad at revenge.

They stand in the bathroom, and his wife looks at herself in the mirror, about to say something, then loses her nerve. She insists she can't do it, but Jay teases her: "You don't want revenge, do you? With confidence, now!” his wife looks timidly at herself in the mirror, and says: "I am pretty." Jay's teaching her to say self-affirming things in the mirror!

It's simultaneously cute, funny, embarrassing, and empowering because what woman doesn't deserve a husband who will teach her to do this? But man, is it hard to do. His wife hilariously tries out statements like "You're sexy!" and "You are perfect," all the while with Jay smiling to himself at her utter adorableness.

Later, Jay called his father-in-law to ask how his mother-in-law was doing, and the answer was that she was okay and that she was not angry.

"You know that your wife is sensitive now because she is pregnant, so please be patient. I also told your mother about her comment that she forgot that her daughter was pregnant, hahaha," said the father-in-law to him.

The next day, Tina went to the jail to visit Gulf. When he saw Gulf, it looked different.

"How are you?" he just stared at her and no matter what he was talking to her, his facial expression was blank.

When he mentioned Marvin's name, he suddenly became violent. He thought that he would get nothing from Gulf.

He called his friend for his plan with Marvin.

Tina also has a friend who is a Psychiatrist whom she asked for help but when she lied that she only wanted to help Marvin the truth was that she didn't.

She doesn't want Marvin to get better, she wants to spend his whole life in a psychiatric hospital until Marvin dies there.

She has many plans to make Marvin disappear because she believes that if Marvin disappears, Shan will return to her.

She believes that Shan loves her and not Marvin.

At the hospital, Marvin gets a surprise gift from his caregiver a giant stuffed dinosaur. Marvin is overjoyed and he tells his caregiver about Tina and Gulf who are both witches so they were punished to be dolls.

Marvin doesn't like anything fake, but he does think that all of them, even the fake ones, are good. His caregiver asks if he also had a good them, and he responds, "She was good to me when she was in front of other people, but after eating, she wasn't anymore."
