Chapter Twenty-Seven: Follow Me Around

Shan POV:

I was in the hospital lounge and I waited for Marvin. I was not convinced by what he said about Tina, so I told Director Kim about it and he told me that Tina is not doing anything but that she is still helping the patients.

I just told them not to let Tina get close to Marvin.

I thought that someone else would just transfer Marvin to the hospital without Tina so that he wouldn't be triggered. When should I first tell Auntie about my plan because they are family?

I never thought that Tina would be this bad.

What Tina is doing is poisoning Marvin's mind and what she is saying.

That we are half brothers and what other lies did she say? The last thing she said was that she was going to kill Marvin.

I also don't want to confront Tina because I know she will lie.

I told Ice that I didn't want to ruin our friendship just because of Tina. Our parents are also close friends and it would be a shame if they were to break up because of Tina.

Ice promised that he would do everything just so that Tina wouldn't disturb me.

When I met Marvin, he immediately hugged me.

"Shan," as he hugged me.

"I have good news for you, your doctor has allowed us to go for a walk." He was happy with what I said. When he asked if we were the only ones, my answer was that he was with his caregiver. I joked that maybe because we made a baby, we needed to have his caregiver with us.

He laughed at my joke. I did not say that the caregiver must come along in case something bad happens.

He is excited about going to the beach resorts.

I've been able to talk to Marvin well, but sometimes it's a trigger when talking about Gulf, the trauma that Gulf left with Marvin is still there.

His caregiver and doctor told us that Marvin always said that he tried to escape but Gulf caught up with him and that he was afraid to sleep because he might not remember anything when he woke up.

We were going to the beach resort at night when Ice called and asked me where we were and I lied about where we were because I knew that he was with Tina.

We are in the hotel room, I walk in without hesitation. Marvin hesitates at first but glares and walks in. When we get up to the room.

He thought that there was a CCTV in our room and that he should check the bathroom and our rooms first because there might be someone or a spy video. He made sure it was safe and that's when he was okay.

"Shan, I'm sorry if I'm paranoid, I just want us to be safe away from them," I held his hand and made sure he was safe.

The next morning, we walked along the beach. Marvin notices I seem preoccupied and asks me what's the matter. I tell him to turn around and say it's nice to see us together since it means we're no longer lonely. I propose to him. And Marvib is as surprised as I am and just stays quiet.

"Yes," he hugged me.

He was also surprised to see my family and his family.

We had a great time celebrating our simple engagement party just by ourselves.

Congratulations to my parents and his parents.

I talked to his parents about my plan to transfer Marvin to another hospital far away from Tina so that his recovery continues and his parents agreed.

Better to be careful than sorry for not believing Marvin.

Later I found an unregistered number so I didn't answer when she texted that she was Tina, I blocked her right away.

I told Punpun not to give my new number to Tina but she gave it anyway.

Later we checked out and I didn't know that Tina followed us.

I ignored her and avoided her. I could see in her eyes how much she didn't like Marvin even though she still had a poker face.

She was still talking when we passed her and I didn't care what she thought of me and Marvin.

The next day, I'm in the middle of a shoot when he gets a call from Tina because she found out about Marvin's engagement and hospital transfer.

"It's not your business," I answered him so that he could react as if she was my girlfriend who cheated on him.

"P'Shan, you weren't like that to me before, since you met him, you've become like that to me. You avoid me like I have a contagious disease," she cried.

"I know why you're avoiding me because of what he told you. You think I can do that to him, I'm not a bad person. You've known me longer than him," I'm not affected by his drama but those around me felt sorry for him and I was the one who came out bad.

"Back to work!" I told them and I don't care what they think of me.

I just let him cry and cry.

I called Ice to pick up Tina who messed up my photoshoot.

Later Ice came and apologized to me.

"Ice, keep that younger sister of yours away from here, she's disturbing the photo shoot and please bring the food she gave you. Please also let her know that Marvin is my fiancee. And don't pretend she's my girlfriend." Tina was about to speak when Ice pulled her and she again apologized for what Tina did.

He even beat Gulf by being a stalker where I was, he was there too.

I thought it was okay because the photoshoot went well and when I went to the studio it was okay until I went to my parent's house.

Guess what Tina watched as if there was no trouble or scene earlier.

"P'Shan," he said happily to me.

I immediately called Ice and told him that his younger sister was at my parents' house.

Ice said that he just wanted Tina to apologize and that she had already promised that she wouldn't bother me and Marvin anymore, so he'll just give it to her.

I told Ice that he was stupid for being annoyed with him. Didn't he see that his younger sister had deceived him?
