"Baby," I call out to Nathaniel as I rush into our room and quickly get in bed on top of him, straddling his lap. I place my hands on his chest while his hands take hold of my waist.
I could see that he was watching a movie but I'm not sorry I interrupted it. He'll be okay cause no one told him to watch it without me anyway.
"I have to tell you something," I smile big, clasping my hands together.
"Tell me, I'm listening ma'," He said removing one hand from my waist to hold over his mouth as he yawned.
"You remember how I had babysat those twin girls the day I got out of college?" I ask him and he nods his head yes, his attention only on me as he listens to me speak.
"Well they paid me more than what they agreed on paying me," I say getting happy all over again because it's more than what I have ever made and it's also such a sudden surprise.
"They said they were gonna pay me two thousand because it was two children and I was grateful but they actually ended up paying me ten thousand, like what the fuck?" I squeal showing him my phone screen so he'd see what's on my card.
He took a long look licking over his lips before smiling.
"That's good baby, Whatchu' plan on doing with it?" He asked rubbing my waist, his touch and motion of his hands, Tranquillizing my mind and body making me feel like I'm already getting a massage.
"I set up a spa day for us, I figured you and I both could use it to release the tension in our muscles and to just relax since all that has gone on these past few days, from you--I get it baby," He cuts me off and I'm guessing it's because he didn't want to be reminded which is why I set this up along with a few other things he doesn't know about.
Of course I put money away. I opened up a savings account a month after starting college and I think I've been doing good at depositing money in it every month after saving money from my paychecks every week.
I figured that living on my own would be hard and it kinda is especially with having to learn how to survive as an adult without my parents taking care of me anymore.
"So are you gonna go along with it orrr..." I drag out taking his hands from off my waist and intertwining our fingers as I await his answer.
"I'm in baby, how long it last fah?" He asks, sitting up and pulling me in close to him making me to wrap my arms around his neck and give him a simple forehead kiss.
