"Mami stop worrying, I'm sure you did great," Nathaniel said to a anxious Alex, who paced the room, in her head about everything, while he packed their belongings for their road-trip back to atl at 2:20 pm.
She'd just finished her final exams for her school year and she couldn't keep her mind off it. She didn't know if she did good or not, but she fought hard to keep her mind on the positive.
She'd been studying really hard. Staying up till five in the morning with Nathaniel telling her not to worry just for her to be standing here doubting and tearing herself apart before picking herself back up again.
No lie, She did struggle on some questions which may be a reason she's stressing right now. Yeah, she's smart and things but everyone struggles.
Even the smartest people have questions that they so desperately need an answer to.
"Do you know that I've struggled with like ten questions, Nathan?" She paused looking over at him.
"That's literally so bad, Kiang," She shook her head as she resumed her actions of pacing and overthinking again.
Nathaniel only sighed as he now zipped up their suitcase full of their every belongings. There was only three suitcases in total while there was also three boxes.
The suitcases had their clothing in it and the boxes carried the rest of their belongings which wasn't a small load, but neither was it a large load.
It was time to say Goodbye Florida and Hello Home.
"Comere baby," Nathaniel gestured, standing to his feet.
Alex sighed making her way over to him and into his open arms that awaited her presence.
She didn't return his hug as she only laid her head on his chest while she took in the comfort of him holding her close while kissing her forehead and speaking affirmations to her.
He was being her emotional support at the moment.
"What's your name mami?" He asked pulling away and tilting her head up by her chin for her to look him in the eyes.
"Why does that ma--Alexius..." He trailed off, looking her dead in the eyes with a serious blank expression that messaged her that he wasn't playing and him asking her name was for a serious matter.
