it was the day of love, or so they say. the day where everyone would show adoration and appreciation to their partners, crushes, families, and even friends. it was also the day where new relationships will blossom.
not in night raven college, though.
f/n walked down the halls of night raven college with her batch mates as they discussed about different things such as homework, their dorm leaders, spells they want to learn about, and of course, valentine's day.
"valentine's day is coming up," remarked yuu, causing the rest to glance at him.
"yeah?" voiced ace, "why? are you gonna confess to someone?"
"we already did last year," answered yuu, referring to the first valentine's they had with f/n.
"yeah," replied f/n with a sigh, "biiiig thanks for bombarding me with gifts and filling my dorm room up with boxes."
ace poked her cheek and teased, "anything for our n/n~"
deuce shook his head in disappointment as he looked at f/n, "sorry about ace..."
f/n smiled at them and continued walking, not saying a word as the rest continued discussing about their day.
"you fools have no chance to be with n/n!" argued sebek.
"hooo~?" voiced ace, "and why is that?"
"because she obviously likes my gifts more!"
epel raised a brow and said, "i don't think so. i believe she preferred my valentine apples."
"not to brag, but she definitely liked my cake," interrupted yuu, "i even knelt down and gave it to her!"
'you lot are talking as if i am not here,' thought f/n.
"hmm... she liked my sunflowers though," mumbled jack.
"sorry, jack, but she definitely preferred my gift more," argued deuce.
grim sighed and walked towards f/n instead, trying to escape from their little banter regarding which gift f/n prefers the most.
f/n grabbed grim and settled him on her shoulder, ignoring the little argument that was going on right beside her.
"can we all just agree that she definitely liked my gift?" voiced ace as he crossed his arms.
"hell no," spoke the rest.
ortho blinked as he watched the scene unfold before him, "nee-san definitely liked nii-san's teddy bear though..."
the rest of the first years glanced at him before looking back at f/n. the military officer avoided their gaze and held ortho's hand as they continued walking.
"right... idia-senpai..." mumbled ace, "yuu did mention they had some moment back when they kidnapped the rest."
"yeah," spoke yuu, "i totally forgot about that..."
deuce bowed in front of f/n in a ninety-degree angle and said, "i'm so sorry!!! i forgot you were in a relationship!!!"
f/n's eyes widened as she spoke, "huh?! i'm not! idia and i are... just friends..."
ortho looked up at f/n before looking back at deuce with a smile, "friends that harbour feelings for one another!"
"ortho! you aren't making this any better," mumbled f/n.
ace frowned and said, "aw... so, does that mean we have no chance?"
f/n eyed ace for a moment before looking back at the rest of the first years, "...you lot are weird, but... if you reeeeeally want to be with me that bad, you have to impress me."
"challenge accepted!" cheered the rest.
f/n sighed and looked at grim, "what did i get myself into, grim?"
grim blinked in confusion as he shrugged, "i don't know... they're weird."
"hell yeah, they are."
"anyway," said grim as he handed f/n a box of chocolates with a smile on his face, "here ya go! yuu and i bought these chocolates for you... i ate two, though."
"awww, grim~" cooed f/n, "i want to adopt you now... but my dorm leader would question why i have a cat in my room."
"fgnaa?! i am not a cat!" exclaimed grim.
"we just lost to a fucking cat?" mumbled epel in disbelief.
