"Abdul keep it down", I whispered but he was not hearing me at all. Why did I agree to have a quickie with him while our friends were downstairs, I don't know but here we were in one of the guest rooms. I'm on my knees trying to give him a blowjob but he keeps moaning too loud and I have to pull back. "Fuck, right there babe, why did you stop?", he whispered. When I took him in my mouth again he started moaning my name again and this time he placed his hand on the back of my head so that I couldn't pull away.

When we returned to the living room Renee high-fived me and I didn't know what I cheered for until Greyson started mimicking how Abdul was moaning. I threw a pillow at his face while Abdul didn't seem to care at all. "Nikki, I've been friends with Abdul for ages and I have never... I repeat never heard him moan that loud. What were you doing to my boy?", Greyson said his smile getting bigger. "I second that", Khaled said and it surprised me considering he was always quiet when I was around. "If you must know, my girl is good at what she does", Abdul said pulling me in a kiss for the second time. I kissed him back instantly making him moan. "I love you", "I love you too", I replied giving him a peck. My reply surprised him considering, I had never told him before. He kissed me again making me smile even more. I pulled back, then went to sit next to Angela, we had a lot of catching up to do.

**One year later**

"Zahra I'm sure it doesn't take that long. Let me in right now", I demanded but there was no reply from the other side of the bathroom. We were testing to see if Zahra was pregnant and waiting out of the bathroom door with a nervous Aziz was not my ideal location. She opened the door with a huge grin on her face. She held the two pregnancy tests with a positive sign making me and Aziz scream our lungs out. It was the best day of our lives. We had been waiting for two months just so that we were absolutely sure. Finally, Zahra was going to be a mother. I was so happy for her. I was pulled into a group hug, making me giggle.

My phone rang and I reached for it. It was Greyson. "Yello!", "Hey Nikki, please come to St.Ruth hospital now", he said with a trembling voice and I didn't think twice I just rushed out not saying goodbye to Zahra or Aziz. I reached the hospital in record time and Greyson was in the waiting area with his shirt covered in blood. "What's going on?", I asked but as if in the queue the doctor appeared. "Relatives of Abdul Qadir", "I am his wife", I said hoping that he wouldn't ask about the ring. "Your husband is fine, nothing major, you may go see him", I didn't wait for him to finish. I rushed into the room to find Abdul sitting on the hospital bed having bruises on his forehead and his hand bandaged. "What happened baby?", I asked. "Just a minor accident. Kids were playing on the edge of the road and one fell in, I had to divert but didn't see another car coming", I hugged him feeling tears fill my eyes. "I'm just glad you're ok", I said holding him tighter.

The door burst open and a fuming Fatima entered. I stepped aside allowing her to see him. She hugged him, it was an amazing sight. "I told you she is no good for you but you wouldn't listen. You have never been in an accident not once in your life and now look where we are. When will you wake up from this fantasy Abdul? When will you stop torturing me huh?", she said with so much pain. "Fatima! really?", Hafeez barked making her flinch and pull back. "How are you son?", he asked Abdul. "I'm fine Dad", he replied then started explaining the accident to them. His mother still stood by the idea of me being cursed, no one seemed to pay attention to her. We were discharged an hour later.

We returned home and Natalia was sad to see Abdul hurt and so was Nathan. They helped arrange the pillows for him on the bed, then asked him if it was okay to sleep with us for the night which Abdul was extra happy about. I guess he enjoyed the attention. We fell asleep with the kids between us. I made a silent prayer to thank god for Abdul's life. He was my everything and losing him was not an option.

Zahra and Aziz visited us the next day. I was happy it was a Sunday. It gave me time to take care of Abdul. He spent the whole day in our room so whoever came to see us entered our room. And yes his mother came as well as Inaya. I was surprised, I thought they wouldn't. I figured that Hafeez and Saad had something to do with their behaviour. I went to the kitchen to help Lucinda prepare dinner for everyone.

We served it on our bedroom veranda that way Abdul wouldn't be lonely. I fed Abdul who looked happy to see everyone. I didn't miss the way he looked at his mother, he missed her, and it made me feel guilty. "Babe, it was her choice. If she wants to be part of our family, she knows what to do", he said then kissed me on my forehead. "It doesn't feel good to have a divided family Abdul", I told him in a whisper not wanting the others to hear. Nathan came into our room and went straight to Fatima. "Long hair", he said to her, and she smiled at him. "Yes it is, what's your name handsome?", she asked in a voice that neither of us recognised. "Nate", "What a wonderful name. I'm grandma Fatima", she said making me gasp. "Hug grandma", Nathan said and she did just that, she hugged my son and Hafeez's face was as bright as the star on a Christmas tree. She pulled away and allowed Nathan to run out of the room. "You saw that right babe?", Abdul asked and I nod pretending to focus on his food with a smile on my face. I don't know if it was an act or not but I felt relaxed knowing that she was not going to drag the kids into our drama.
