PROLOGUE

P R O L O G U E

"Hi, I'm Chaos!"

I reached for her hand.

Destin Chaos.

My name alone says, I am destined to be in Chaos..

"Eto ba ang hinahanap mo?"

I said, gathering all of my guts into asking her for the very first time.

She was silent and I hastily averted her eyes. Those stares, verify that what is written in this goddamn piece of paper is somehow... true. And in that moment also, I started hating my guts!

My mind is a cruel thing..

She got up without having the effort of making eye contact with me. She was just staring in a void while walking aimlessly, 'till she walked past me.

And I let her go..

I forget the things I try hard to remember but,

I stood there unable to move, still clutching the piece of folded paper... It was just a torn up piece of paper from a girly stationary notebook but, it sure as hell ripped my only hope.

"Queen!"

I held her hand so tight, I don't want to lose her.

She tried to run but I restrained her. She struggled, helplessly but I enveloped my arms around her..

I remember all too well the things, I try hard to forget..

"A-alam mo na?" she said between her sobs, "Alam mo ng may eraser ako dito.."

But the cruelest potential this thing can have and can do to me?

 "I am your Queen, and my mission is..." she looked at me and smiled. She had that sort of broad and unfeigned smile in which you couldn't help but believe — you just wanted to make her happy so you could keep seeing it.  "To bring back your memory.."

It will make me become a stranger, in my own life..

Memories? I don't think, I had one.. I don't keep memories, because keeping it would only mean worrying.. worrying from what you've done and the things that you didn't do.

But if ever she happened to know about my memories of the past, she'd be in tears..
