The end of July was soon approaching. Only three more days as August steadily approached, the final month before the summer heat would disappear and be welcomed by the Fall's gentle breeze. Change was coming. New beginnings are on the way, some for better, and hopefully not for worse.
This sentiment could not be any more true than for a certain set of people. As in the coming days, months, and for the rest of this year and the next, they would be under a new setting. One they haven't experienced before, at least not together. Gone was her great kingdom, and away was she from the responsibility of being king. Artoria was still on the land she reigned over, yet now she was supposed to have the image of a simple woman and not that of a mighty king.
While he, the man who had journeyed here with her, found himself without the need to maintain the image of a knight. No longer required to fulfill the duties of the king's royal guard, he now had a far greater purpose. Where she was uncertain, this man saw the opportunity he was present with. Yes, Y/n just like Artoria was in a new environment.
An environment that would test them, and possibly even bring them closer together. For the experiences made here, while hidden from history, are never to be known. Certainly, make for an interesting part of history, and look into their lives.

Far from the great walls of Camelot, was there a small cozy looking village, with homes numbering up to a dozen or more. With fields of tall grass on the outskirts, and farm life moving about, the land looked all but complete as both men and women seemed to be up and about. Even small children could be seen running around, or of course, helping their fathers with work.
This place was far more peaceful than the lively stage that was Camelot, as the village seemed to be in its own little world, one that would remind you of home. A place where warm and good memories are formed, and good times are shared. Peaceful and quiet looking, it was certainly a good place to raise a family. With a bright sun shining like a light bulb, and a soft blue sky that was dressed with many clouds, the day seemed to be a good one, as it was already close to being noon.
But, it was the village's outskirts, the north side which neared a large forest, there was another home, one that was recently built. Large and sturdy, it had the image and look of a cottage, a large one at that. Having been recently built, it had become the talk of the town, as the residents wondered who their new neighbors could be. Well, they were certainly aware of at least one of them, he was quite talkative after all, having gained much of people's attention when he had arrived. Hell, the children wouldn't stop asking to sit atop his shoulders. Though.... They still had yet to meet his wife.
Who he wouldn't shut up about.
Perhaps causing some to grow curious, and possibly even jealous.
Y/n may have been a little too good at hyping his "wife" up.

"Soon may the Wellerman come."
"To bring us sugar and tea and rum."
"One day when the tonguing is done, we'll take our leave and go."
Inside the small-medium-sized bedroom was there Artoria, the blonde woman asleep atop the large king-sized bed, which was dressed in white sheets and black pillows. Sleeping on the right side of the bed, in her arms she held the pillow that belonged to the left side close to her chest. Though, once she'd inevitably awake, she'd most likely be surprised and disappointed that the pillow wasn't actually...
