Starlight by star night, on the cold December night, across the black seas a dozen ships drift forward tonight.
Across the black sea, flags displaying the symbol of Pendragon stood tall this winter's night, as larger than any typical sea-faring vessel, the warships moved along the waters as thousands of beds awaited the return home that was said to be just a day away. From their homes they had left to a war they had fought, the brave men who stood against the Roman Legions wished for nothing more than to see their families once more. And so, with the main vessel leading them all across the gentle waters, the dark night was accompanied by golden light as lanterns hung at the sides of each ship, lighting the way home.
Return home, receive rest, receive honor, be welcomed and loved, the thoughts of men were often simple but strong. Easy to understand, yet so desirable that when made into dreams, it is no wonder they are fought for. But upon the main vessel, the largest ship of them all, those that stood on it were of a similar mind and character as their commander. And so, as men waited and rested on the deck, at the front of the ship, resting his arms over the ledge, the knight dressed in almost glowing silver armor stood leaning over the ship, his forearms resting over each other as his golden eyes stared up at the moon that hung over the night sky.
From the time in which he was still but an innocent child, to even when he was a young adventurous man, to now where he finds himself taking in the silence life brings, Y/n for as long as he knew, had always enjoyed staring up at the moon.
A red jewel that would always catch his eye, greeted him once again this night. Fully before its glory, the dark grayish-blue clouds did not obscure the sight this night.
And with a creak from behind, the Wolf Knight smiled just a little as he felt a certain someone walk up from behind and place their hands upon his helmet, removing it without his say or request as he then watched out of the corner of his eye as she walked up and stood by his right side. "Hehe, what's got ya staying up so late, Master?" Copying him and resting her arms over the wood, Sif's smile spread as she gave him a curious grin. And under the darkness of the night, her blue eyes glowed like faint flickers from stars as the moon's glow made even her long white hair shine and shimmer. A true beastly beauty, the divine beast's human body was a sight that stole away the night.
"Just have a moment to myself before inevitably I spend all my time...," Chuckling, he released a sigh as he then turned and stared ahead. Shrugging his shoulders as he then answered. "Well you know what our life is like, there's never a minute I'm not helping a woman, or little girl put on her shoes right, haha," With a laugh his face brightened, earning a nudge on the arm from Sif.
"Yeah? And is Mr. SuperDad going to start complaining about that?" Sif asked with a raised brow, getting her master to look at her before he shook his head. It was a no-brainer that he wouldn't, and so Sif let her grin recede back into a simple look of approval. Patting the man on the back, she watched as her master only closed his eyes and rested, letting the gentle sound of the moving waves fill his ears and maybe even his dreams. "That's right, you're such a sucker for those little girls... Blondy and Merlin too," Close enough away, she wouldn't have to worry about a single soul hearing her words this late. "Hehe, that woman can say jump and you'll ask how high, won't you, master?" Like she already knew the answer, Sif said her words and waited.
