[ Chapter 29 ]
Some admire her form, others her beauty, while a few only took notice of her presence. A woman who is gentle as the wind, and as delicate as a flower. She took the eyes of knights, and hearts of many as she would pass them. Leaving them in wonder of what she could be.
Beauty beyond any human were they certain.
A warm, yet guiding teacher, a wise but mischievous advisor, or even a hot-blooded woman looking for a night of passion? Oh yes, many would drop at the chance of sharing a bed with her, a woman unlike any other, she is a one-of-a-kind type of gal.
Britain's "Miss Mysterious".
Yes, yes, she had many names across her record. Some are more grander than the rest, while a few are less than wanted. So it is no wonder that when passing through the halls of the castle, home of the king, she'd be treated as the woman of the hour. Attention naturally being drawn to her, as she is the aid of their great king!
She is the "Magus of Flowers", and mischief incarnate.
Merin walked with a beat in her steps, walking with eagerness, having rhythm in her stride. Her stilettos tapped and echoed off the floor as she moved. Arms at her side, and shoulders raised, while facing forward, she had the posture of a lady. Elegant and refined, yet ever enticing.
"Hmmm.... Hmmm~."
Humming a song, a soft melody played in her head. For on her face was a sweet smile that could make anyone's day, only making the delightful look in her eye ever more pleasant. With her hood down, the woman's hair flowed freely past her back. White hair that was more in line with a very light shade of blue.
The woman's day had already begun hours ago, yet she looked as if it had only begun. Only a couple of days had passed from her talk with dear Arthur. And, like any other day, the woman repeated what she had done each day previously.
Wake up, eat, check on her king, and continue on with her own business. Such a life sounds rather boring does it not? The same thing, day in and day out. Such a life did not fit the character of a woman such as her, did it? So of course, she did find ways to entertain herself, though it often was at the misfortune of others.
Just right down the hall and I'll be there, fufu~
Yet, there was one part of her day that she looked forward to the most, a recent addition to her life. One that could change her mood and cause the woman to become driven. Making Merlin walk with a purpose, and giving a sense of joy that would surround her. Yes, this part of her day was very important to her, very important.
My, I wonder if today I shall see him up? The child tends to enjoy his sleep. Merlin thought to herself, wondering if the man would be awake to see her, unlike her recent visits. Hmm? If that happens to be the case, I guess I'll leave him be...
Taking a turn and going right, Merlin began walking down another hall. Her pace began to increase by a little as she moved. Staring at the large door at the end of the hall, being on the left side of the walls. A feeling of excitement seemed to wash over her as she walked.
Still, it would make me very happy to speak with you for once, I do miss our talks after all... Merlin continued to think, hoping to see the man awake. The possibilities cause the woman a small anxious feeling, something that seemed to bother her more than it would a normal person. Yet, it could also be said she was more excited than the average person would be, for something such as this.
And, we're here~ Merlin finished, arriving at the door.
Merlin had stopped in front of a large door, white in color, just like the walls, the size of the door was almost double her own height, which made sense considering who's room it was. After all, compared to her... He was practically a giant.
