Dear Mocha | Chapter V: Selection examinations.

Mocha walked down the town square the next morning, holding a basket as she went to buy the ingredients Yakei requested.

She was reading Opilus's book while she walked past people, scrolling through the pages as she studied what it contained.

Opilus seemeed to be interested in spells and myths, as most of the information is about either of those two.

What would be other than that is some old sun element moves which are hardly practiced and are powerful.

Mocha would've been interested in mastering those moves if her element was sun. Though if the book is tightly secured..

Was it destined to someone .. else? Was the book meant to be given to another person that isn't Mocha? It can't be Kae or Cupi.

They both have the wind element. So she has to find someone with the sun element to check with. Someone who would look like they are powerful enough to use it.

Just as she found the bread stand which has fresu country-side bread. Mocha closed the book and went to buy some with the money she was given.

"Thank you, sir!" She happily said, patting the fluffy bread pieces that the man cut for her. He thanked her for the money before she turned to leave.

Mocha made sure the book was safely put and secured inside of the basket, so that nobody can attempt to steal it.

Like they can anyways..

Mocha walked past the people, pushing her way to head back to the park to deliver the bread and continue training for the agility examinations the next day.

Around her people where talking about the incident which happened two weeks ago. Everyone still talked about Moon's death.

High Lunarity 1, Lumiere, or Lumi Sakuke, was very upset about it. He lost two stuff. His main love interest and his successor.. or Kitoko.

Mocha felt really guilty.. Moon sacrificed her life in order to save Mocha. Though she wondered if she returned as a ghost yet.

No news confirmed if she has, but she hopes she did. Because she'd be pleasured to meet and thank Moon's spirit if she did.

Mocha always wondered what Kitoko's are. Each Lunarity can have a Kitoko. If it's another word for successor.. then..

They are special guardians/guardians in training personally appointed and trained by them! Mocha wondered if she can apply..

Though she's pretty sure she can't right now because of her weak state. She'd have to practice more. Mocha glanced at her surroundings.

Bunch of white buildings, with stores on their lowest floors. Plants sprang everywhere and multiple food stands too.

Many people where laughing and smiling, while taking pictures or sitting down to eat something. Mocha smiled at the happy families.

She hoped she can get back to her family anytime soon. Though they had to get Kae back first and return Opilus's book.

Just as she broke from her thinking, she felt someone shriek behind her. Mocha turned to find Dake, one of Seliana's puppets.

He was trying to steal the book! She gripped his hand very very tightly, making him howl in pain. She retreated the book back and began running.

"CATCH HER!" Seliana growled, as the three began running past the crowd, trying to reach Mocha in any way possible.

Mocha pushed past others, yelling appologies and she struggled to move past people. 'Too crowded!!' She kept pushing through tight spaces.

Once she got out ot the crowd, she began running through the wide bus streets, as people watched her run for her life.

The other three caught up very fast, and she cursed under her breath in terror. She used every practiced method she can to flee.

A bus was about to leave, when Mocha jumped onto the back of it, holding onto the pole as the bus drove away.

Seliana and the other two still chased her, running as fast as they can after the bus. She ran into the bus as she appologized for pushing everyone.

The bus drove down the road as the trio chased after it, hoping they could take the book back. Seliana used her magic to startle the bus.

People gasped as she stopped the bus using ger water element, and both of them ran to it to take Mocha out of there.

They hopped into the bus and searched the people while asking about her and the book. Mocha was about to jump off.

"There!" Dake said, pointing at Mocha who ran away. Seliana snickered as she managed to catch up to her quiet easily.

Dake and Nyezo caught up too, dodging multiple obstacles in the way. Mocha stopped at a dead end. People gathered around them.

"She stole an ancient book!" Seliana said, pointing at the book in her basket. "What?" Mocha huffed, standing to her.

"Yes! You heard me! Thief!" She answered, clenching her fists. Nyezo and Dake backed away, not wanting to interfer.

"Hand the book back! Thief!" She yelled, as everyone stared at Mocha in shock. Mocha sighed before smiling gently.

"Okay, fine! Here!" She replied, taking the book out and putting it in Seliana's palm. The girl looked happy to her easy win.

Soon her hand burned as she screamed in terror. The book fell to the floor, and Mocha picked it up.

"Take it." Mocha said, holding it out again. Seliana stared at her, uneasy with her wellbeing. She backed away. "You! You enchanted it!"

"I dont know enchantment spells, Seliana." She answered coldly, putting the book back in the basket. She wanted to leave.

"You just arent worthy to hold the book, now move." She said, walking away. Leaving Seliana stunned and embarrassed.

Afraid, everyone moved aside and let Mocha pass; before turning to leave and do their original things.

Seliana frowned in annoyance as Dake and Nyezo stood by her. "Idiot. You thought it would work?" Dake insulted her.

"She's dumb, let her relax for a bit. Come on, Dake." Nyezo called, before the two left to go and take a walk in the nearest park.

Seliana was dumbfounded and bewildered. She knew that Mocha wasn't going to let her have the book so easily.

She'll have to take it back, her way.
