After the festival, Mocha and Kyo had rushed home and looked for the book, to which she successfully found. She sank on the couch with the book clutched in between her arms. She then turned to Yakei, Hayen and Hunter, who were eating.

"What happened? You look sick." Hayen said, pointing out her now pale skin color and frail state. Kyo had decided to go to bed, so she wasn't with the group who's in the living room. Mocha gently put the book back on the table.

"I- Look, someone attacked me during the festival and poisoned me, I wasn't able to move for a while and Ruki had to carry me around." She quickly explained, as Hunter spat out the food in his mouth, before getting scolded by Yakei.

"What? Who?" He asked, as Mocha shrugged, pulling one of the pillows and resting her head on it, she was stressed. As long as the book was with her, trouble followed her everywhere. Were people really that desperate to get it? She didn't like that idea.

Besides, she hasn't really gotten a step closer to finding Opilus, and she wanted to give up. If she took that same train to the Misfit Valley, who knows what other Shis lurk there? She shook her head, not wanting to think about this situation.

"I'm tired, I'll go get some rest." She mumbled, as they wished her a good night before she stumbled her way to her and Kyo's room. She felt her legs being weak, and not being able to hold her for long.

She twisted the doorknob and opened it, stepping inside the room. She breathed, before closing the door and falling on the bed, forgetting about everything. The book was left on the couch outside, and Hayen said he'll handle the pain of hiding it.

The rest of the vacation went by slow, they visited Kae a few times and told him about what happened, and they spent it at home while Mocha recovered. Her body was getting better, but her element was gone.

She didn't know if it was permanent or temporary. The thought of her going back to being powerless scared her, and it kept her awake on the rest of the nights of the vacation. They spoke to Nana about the situation, and she said she wasn't too sure about it yet.

She did numerous attempts to try and use her element, but it failed miserably. After many of these attempts, she would break down into tears, with Kyo comforting her. The girl was currently sitting on her bed, with the blanket half on the ground and her.

Many thoughts raced her mind, one after the other. Many weren't good. She didn't know how she'd perform in combat arts classes without her element. Heck, she was weak physically, and her element was the only thing which supported her.

Yakei was sitting outside with Kyo, Hunter and Hayen. They all had cups of tea, and the guardian began talking. "I will have to send Mocha back to her hometown, this week." He said, as Kyo opened her mouth to protest.

"No. Her element could be permanently gone, and we don't have any idea who the culprit was, or what he did. The fight lasted for less than ten minutes, and he was clearly after her." He continued, as Kyo shut her mouth.

"You can stay if you want, Cupi. But she has to go back, it's not safe for her here anymore." Yakei said, as Hunter pat Kyo's shoulder. "I have to agree with dad for this one." He said, as Yakei raised his eyebrow at the nickname.

"This is all tied to the book, right? Why don't we just get rid of it?" Kyo said quickly. "They're all after the book. Let's dispose it somewhere, and she can stay!" Kyo said, with a weak, scary smile.

"I think she should go back, uh, Kyo, did you forget that her parents would be worried sick for her?" Hayen said, remembering when she had told him she missed them dearly, and how she hoped they would be okay.

Kyo froze in her place. She didn't want to imagine that day would ever come, but hell was it coming sooner than expected. The girl didn't even finish her first year at the academy, and she'd have to leave.

She had to get rid of Kinoko, so she couldn't go back to Kameme with Mocha, but if she stayed here any longer, would she find Mocha if she came back later anyway? She didn't have a set date for when she was planning on killing her.

She'd have to leave her friend behind for this one. She didn't like the entire idea, but she wanted revenge more than anything. She clenched her fists, frustrated that she was defeated in this argument.

She looked down at her hands, and Hunter and Hayen turned their attention back to Yakei, giving him the full focus now. They changed the topic and began chatting about something different, to distract themselves from this entire thing.

The hooded figure took down their hood. He had brown hair, fair skin and chestnut-colored eyes. He was wearing a white button-up shirt under the cloak, and he clenched his hands. He made it to an alleyway and busted open a metal door.

There sat two people. One girl and one boy. The girl had long, black hair, dark-blue eyes and light skin. She was wearing a white tank top, brown belts and navy-blue wide trousers, with brown fur boots.

She had a white and blue armband, and one leg over the other. The male had white hair, black eyes, and wore an ash grey hoodie, black beanie and knee-length jean shorts, with black combat boots. He was leaning forward on the barrel he was sitting on.

"How was it, honey?" The girl snickered, teasing him like she always did. The hooded male hissed at her, shutting the door and pulling a barrel to him, before sitting down.

"Keep that shit to yourself, Akiko."

DUN DUN DUNNNN! WHO REMEMBERS AKIKO?!! RAISE UR HAND IF U DO!! I didn't know when I'd showcased her and decided to give her a villain role hehe! ENJOY THE CLIFFHANGER >:)
