The next morning, Kyo was up last. She took a quick shower, brushed her teeth and changed in the bathroom, before putting her dirty laundry in the laundry basket. She stepped out of the bathroom door, with a towel in her hands as she dried out her short, fluffy white hair.

"Took miss little timewaster enough time." Hunter rolled his eyes, as Kyo stuck her tongue out, walking over to them. She lowered the towel, ruffling her hair to ensure it was dry enough. "Hey, look, it's only ten in the morning, Kae's probably asleep." Kyo said.

Mocha sighed. They were all dressed up, and had to wait for Kyo, who's always late to get ready. "I have loads of questions to ask him, Cupi! Like how he got enrolled in our school for example?" She said, as Kyo rolled her eyes.

"He's on scholarship like us?" She suggested, as Mocha shook her head, it wasn't that at all. There was no way it was like that, because they didn't see him in the entrance examinations. Just as she was about to respond, she was interrupted.  

Yakei, being the father he is, impatiently cleared his throat, causing Kyo to quickly rush and change into a more appropriate outfit, before coming out again. They left the apartment and walked into the elevator.

The entire way there, everyone was quiet, except for Hunter who was speaking with Yakei about random stuff. Hayen was busy fumbling with his thumbs, and Mocha was on the phone she was gifted by Yakei after they made it in the school.

Kyo watched as other people passed them. She then glanced to Mocha, smirking. "So, you're capable with one hand?" Kyo asked, hinting at her broken arm which was in a cast. "I can use a phone with my right hand normally, by the way." She spoke.

Kyo shrugged, she was trying to strike up a conversation. Soon, they made it to the hospital, and met with Camilla, who also came to visit. She greeted everyone and followed them inside. She was talking to Hunter the entire time about school projects and events for them second yearers. 

They checked into the hospital and followed the nurse to Kae's room. Light knocked were heard by Kae, before the door opened. The curtains around his bed were covered, so it indicated he was probably asleep. 

"SEE! I told you he's sleeping!" Kyo said loudly, as Mocha smacked her hand on the older's mouth to keep her quiet, so she wouldn't wake him up in case that was true. They stood there awkwardly, unsure of what they should do.

Just a few moments later, the door opened, and another person headed in. It was the nurse assigned to Kae, the blue-haired lady smiled warmly at his guests, as she slowly closed the door. 
"Yakei-sama! Nice to meet you!" Nana said, shaking his hand. 

"Kae's woken up two hours ago, don't worry. Oh! I'm Ima Nanamura, just call me Nana though, his nurse and an aqua kingdom guardian, well a guardian-in-training." She said softly, shaking hands with them one after the other. Mocha was interested, she raised an eyebrow. 

"In-training?" She repeated, as Nana nodded, she was holding a clipboard and a pen in one hand and used her free hand to shake hands with them. "I'm studying medical in college! I want to be a medical guardian; therefore, I have to take college." She explained, walking over to Kae.

"Wait, you can work as a nurse before graduating?" Mocha murmured, as Kyo gave her a 'don't' look, and the others who didn't know Mocha wasn't from Arcania - well, didn't come here in a long time - gave her confused looks. 

"What college do you attend?" Hunter asked, as Nana beamed at him. She put the clipboard and pen at the bedside table, placing her hands on her hips. "Southeast Arcanian College, or S.E.A.C for short!" She mentioned proudly. 

Hunter and Camilla were fascinated. Mocha and Kyo shared glances, asking what's so big about the college she was talking about. Hunter and Camilla went into an entire rant about it. Apparently, it's one of the best colleges out there, and that even many Azure Academy students weren't able to enroll after high school. 

Nana opened the curtains, to reveal Kae, who was half-asleep. He looked at his nurse, as she moved aside, revealing his friends. Kae smiled happily, pulling Mocha and Kyo into a hug, followed by Hayen and Hunter, and Yakei lastly. 

"Now, we have loads of questions for you, mister." She said, and Kae nodded, saying the same. He asked if he can be left alone with only Kyo and Mocha, to which everyone respected and left the room. Nana spoke to the group outside about Kae's current wellbeing. 

Mocha and Kyo pulled chairs by his bed, as they nervously sat down, staring at the injured younger male in front of them. He was tired and seemed to recover slowly. "How did you enroll at Azure?" Mocha asked quickly. 

He scrunched his nose, he remembered that Seliana told him he shouldn't tell, but they were his best friends, besides, how did she even get him enrolled, and why did she decide to do it? It all puzzled him, but he was planning on asking when he came back to school after his full recovery. 

"Um... I cannot say, I'm sorry." He said, rubbing his head slowly. Kyo was surprised to see the Kae she knew had changed. He was shyer now, and answered questions once asked. She gently tapped her foot on the ground.

"Did the kidnappers force you not to tell? Are you being monitored by them?" Kyo asked afterwards, as Kae shook his head. Well, Seliana asked him not to tell, but she didn't force him into it. Kae looked at his bandaged hands. 

"No, I chose not to, she asked me not to tell though. She took care of me a bit." Kae explained, shocking the duo. Ever since they left for the Misfit valley, and they didn't encounter Seliana or get into disputes with her.
