The qualified students from Azure Academy were busy training in the training fields. Their second year Combat Arts teacher, Professor Clause, was watching their every movement. The team was up against a six-meter-tall robot, which could have been viewable from miles away.
Camilla was running along the field as she slid on the ground under the robot, let the white aura bubble in her palms as it touched the robot's legs from the side, severe burn marks appeared, and before she can fix herself, she tripped and fell.
Hunter helped her up, telling her to be careful, before the girl apologized and went back to helping the others take it down. Masahiro struck the ground to be able to stun the robot, which was somewhat working, before it broke free and kicked him away.
A water rope held him and placed him down. It was Ai, who was on defense and trying to help out since he was weak when it came to one-on-one fighting. Every time each of them would get hurt, he would use his element to help.
Hunter pierced at it with multiple fire bows, as he dodged incoming attacks from the robot sweeping the ground. He lunged back and hit right into the barrier. Clause snapped at him, as he crossed his arms angrily.
Clause was a short man, standing at 164 cm. He had brown hair, a beard which ran from his ears down to his chin, and some hair appearing where a mustache is supposed to be. He had dark amber eyes, and was wearing a brown cloak, with black shirt and brown trousers.
He had boots on, and he sighed every now and then. "KEEP SYNC IN FIGHTING! KARA AND MASAHIRO! I MEAN YOU BOTH, STICK TOGETHER! HUNTER! FOCUS ON WHERE YOU'RE GOING TOO!" Clause yelled, as Kara groaned in frustration.
The girl glanced at Masahiro, before she gracefully did summersaults to dodge the robot. Masahiro kept pulling the ground up to block the robot's arm from capturing him. Kara hid by him, as she tapped his shoulder.
"Can you manipulate flying rocks?" She asked, and Masahiro raised his eyebrow at the strange request, but nodded, nonetheless. "Well, this'll be a blast!" She yelled, as she pressed on the ground with full force.
The ground, which was touched by Kara shattered, as they flew into the air. Masahiro grabbed Kara and took her out of harm's way, as he used his free arm to manipulate the flying debris at the robot in order to distract him.
"The panel's up there! If we damage it, we'll win!" Kara said, as she pointed at a small square board on the nape of the robot. Masahiro squinted his eyes at it, before created a wall to protect them both for a while.
"I can't make the rocks shoot up to six meters, that'll cause me a headache, we'll need to find another way to get someone up there," He explained, as the rocks protecting them began cracking. Kara's eyes scanned around for anything they can use.
Masahiro turned to Ai, who fending off the falling debris using the water. His eyes lit up. Masahiro grabbed Kara's wrist and led them to him just in time before the rock wall broke. Kara, confused, only stayed quiet.
"AI! SHOOT KARA IN THE AIR!" He yelled, as the girl did a 'wait what' face. Ai obliged, merged his arms with the water vapor in the air, and carried Kara from her waist, before tossing her into the air with great force.
Masahiro then asked to be tossed, and Ai obliged, before he rolled to the side to dodge an attack. Masahiro took out of his pockets magic solutions and drank them, as Kara watched carefully. His arms had brown cracks all over, and the ground below them began rising.
They fell right onto it, and Masahiro caught Kara before she could fall off. They were close to the panel, but the robot was quick to notice. "Thought you said you couldn't," Kara said sarcastically, as Masahiro rolled his eyes.
"I'll toss ya up there, kay? The solution only boosts my powers for a minute or so, I had to be in air to ensure I won't get a headache from looking up too much," He explained, as Kara nodded, preparing herself.
"When you feel like you can reach the robot, touch the panel and make it vibrate so it can be destroyed," He instructed, before throwing her into the air. The rocks Masahiro was standing on began falling, and he was left to freefall.
Kara figure reached the robot, as she held onto the ledge. She pulled herself up a bit and managed to touch the panel with whatever strength she had left, before letting go and falling herself, when it happened, the robot immediately deactivated, before a large explosion happened in its nape.
Kara was falling, and she was too frightened to scream, but someone was up and able to catch her in time, before he began rolling on the ground with her in his arms. It was Hunter, and he was saving her from her. potential death.
They rolled down the hill before making to a stop, and Hunter letting go, so they can breathe. Camilla wiped her hands together, grinning. The robot was going to fall if it weren't for the strong structure of the building supporting it.
"What the hell were you both doing?!" Kara yelled, as she looked at Hunter, then at Camilla. The girl pointed at the burnt-out metallic legs of the robot. "We figured it'd slow it down and distract it, so we tried what we could," She explained.
Clause clapped his hands, even though the displeased face still stayed there. He hopped off the stands, landing perfectly before walking up to the team. Ai ran over, as he hoped everyone was okay, since he saw Masahiro and Kara falling.
"Perfect, get some rest. We'll need to be in the stadium by 12 o clock sharp, got it?" Clause said, as they all nodded, before he led them out of the training room, and many people entered to get rid of the ginormous robot which laid back on the building.
