I've always loved Guardians.
A young brunette was in the back watching a couple of guardians engage in a battle against a small gangster group. They shook them off like dust, and it was fascinating to watch. The girl leaned forward on the caution tape.
"Camilla, honey, don't get too close," Her mother's soft voice snapped her back to her senses, as she felt her mother's delicate hands pull her back with a soft smile. Camilla stood back, holding onto her mother's hand as she watched the fight come to its ends.
The guardian was a young man, he had a calming smile which told her 'Don't worry, I'll save you'. Young ten-year-old Camilla had been opting to become someone in his place. Someone who'd assure others that they'll be fine.
Camilla was the perfect description of a flashy, cool guardian. She had a pretty element, which was the Sun element, and she was between the prettiest out there. But whenever she said she wanted to be a guardian, others laughed at her for it.
The words of criticism failed to chain her back though, and she fought hard till she achieved her position in Azure Academy. The position she worked herself hard for, the one which opened her the path of becoming a hero to others.
Camilla was pushed back as she shielded her eyes from the incoming waves of sand, which she has been defending herself against for the past couple minutes. After the wave, the girl found herself coughing a few times.
She's managed to capture a person with her group, which consisted of two Takaoka High students, one being Aiyo and the other being Ren. Aiyo was on her way back with the captured person, leaving Ren and Camilla to fight themselves.
"Where'd he go?!" She yelled, as she whipped her head from right to left, wondering where the opponent had vanished. Ren was standing by her removing the sand from his glasses. The presence was gone, and the tension rose in the air.
They were both lifted off their feet into a strong flow of sand and Ren found himself wrapping one arm around Camilla's waist, to keep them from being separated. Ren managed to shoot out crystals in the direction of where the sand began coming from.
A loud growl can be heard, before the presence was gone once more. Ren fell on his back, with Camilla by him. The two got on their feet, with Camilla thanking Ren, as they awaited the next attack.
"He's pretty quick, and neither of us have elements which are good for speed," He said, as he kept his eye out for the sand user. Camilla bit her bottom lip. They positioned themselves properly.
"Aw crap, if only Kara was here.." She mumbled to herself, the sand user watching them closely, as Ren managed to land a hit on him, his sides ached and bled a bit, it stang, so it limited his movements.
A brunette was sitting in a massive empty library, with books, scrolls and objects scattered around the largest table, which was a long table. The girl was rummaging through some information regarding a foe.
"I used to be like you too.. I was a Lunarity.. just like you.. but my hurt pride and ego caused me to be like this, and now I'm having a painful death.."
Mnemi could never forget those words, and decided to investigate further, because Viesta may have told the family about whatever intel she could remember from when she was alive.
The girl helplessly looked through Toxic element users to find out one with a possible name similar to Viesta. Of course, the odds are unlikely, but...
"Pika, what are you doing?" A deep sharp voice spoke suddenly, causing the brunette to jump from her seat. She jerked her head to the person who came in.
It was a man who possibly stood at 5'7 feet, he had dirty green skin, which wasn't dark somehow, and indigo eyes. He had striking purple messy hair and sharp teeth.
He was wearing a cloak which reached up to above his chin, and it was smoky purple, with a large cyan line running around it horizontally, and a zipper to open and close the supposed cloak.
Under, he wore a plane black shirt and black pants, with geta sandals. "Kemuri!" She exclaimed, waving at him, before he grit his teeth, irritated by her presence.
"Answer my question, mutt." He said, holding out his finger at her, which was bandaged due to a previous incident. Mnemi had sweat running down her face at his rudeness.
"Um, okay.. I was researching about Viesta, the previous Shi 30," she explained, as she turned her attention back to the stack of items on the table.
"I know that already, black sucking bastard told me." He said, as Mnemi raised her eyebrow, was he referring to Lunarity five with that weird nickname he created?
"Do you mean Raimei?" She asked, and he scowled at her, causing her to stiffen. "That's not the point here! You're rummaging the library I cleaned this morning!" He angrily stated, as Mnemi looked around quickly.
"Kemuri, I'm so sorry, I didn't know!" She said, bowing slightly to show how apologetic she was. Kemuri scoffed, crossing his arms. "Whatever, I don't need your apologies. Clean it up when you're done." He stated.
Mnemi straightened her back. "Kemuri, do you know anything about—"
"No, I don't, don't ask me." He interrupted her, turning on his heel to leave without another word, leaving Mnemi to be consumed with complete silence.
She turned back to what she was doing, not bothering to think about the incident which happened so suddenly. Her fingers running over text as she read the names of the deceased and alive guardians.
Kemuri walked down the hallways, his hands and arms hidden in his cloak. He avoided anyone who spoke to him, or gave them an aggressive response.
Kemuri was always hostile and grumpy, nobody managed to friend him at all. The Ghoul Kingdom isn't all proud that their representative is that salty, but they didn't complain.
Kemuri Nashamaji is the current High Lunarity four, and the reprasentitive of the Ghoul Kingdom. In rare cases; Tokeni Abilities manifest to be stronger than actual elements.
His allowed him to paralyze people just by biting them or scratching them; and because of it, he rose the ranks of a Lunarity quiet quickly in comparison to his comrades.
Kemuri was also rumored to be capable to par with Lunarity three, and that maybe eventually, he'd be able to steal her position from her, the one she hogged for five years, and keep it to himself.
