The air filled with a thunderous screech as the shadow condors descended, black feathers blotting out the sky. Their shrill cries echoed like death bells across the Condor Geoglyph.

Ryu gritted his teeth. "This is bad..."

Katrina's voice trembled. "Really bad... We have to stop those birds!"

The flock surged closer—hundreds of wings slicing through the air. Everyone turned instinctively, shielding their faces, eyes shut tight in fear—

Until a sudden, earth-shattering impact rippled through the battlefield. A surge of energy tore through the skies, flinging the dark condors backward in a shockwave of divine power.

Yuzu gasped. "What... what just happened!?"

As the dust cleared, massive silhouettes loomed overhead—five colossal entities standing between them and the storm.

Ccapac Apu, Manibus, Uru, Aslla Piscu, and Lillius—the Earthbound Gods—had appeared, their auras radiating with blinding light.

Hana could barely speak. "The Earthbound Gods...? But why are they protecting us?"

The group turned—and their eyes widened. Vivian stood before them, her mark glowing with a deep violet light. Her eyes had turned pitch black, yet her expression was calm and resolute.

Her voice echoed with divine resonance. "We're not going to let you hurt my friends."

The ground trembled again as the King of the Netherworld unleashed a furious roar, its voice reverberating through the void.

Ron covered his ears. "That's a loud roar!"

Ruka shuddered, sensing the pressure in the air. "I can hear his voice... The King of the Underworld is angry—the Earthbound Gods are... betraying him."

Manibus spread his wings and released a defiant screech at the monstrous king.

Katrina's eyes glowed faintly with understanding. "I heard it too... The Earthbound Gods are telling the King that Vivian is their ruler now."

Jean blinked in disbelief, then grinned. "Seriously? That's... that's so cool."

The gods charged forward—Ccapac Apu slammed its massive fist into the King's face, sending shockwaves across the ground, while Uru spun threads of golden silk, binding the monstrous body in place. The King's roars turned into shrieks as the silk constricted around its limbs.

Vivian turned back to the others, her voice commanding yet filled with trust. "Leave the King to me—and to my friends. You focus on the duel!"

Yuya nodded firmly, raising his Duel Disk. "Those wishes of yours have been received, Vivian!"

Yuni mirrored the gesture with a thumbs-up. "We'll take care of this side!"

Condor scoffed, his crimson eyes narrowing. "Hmph. You're showing me one threepenny performance."

Yuya's voice rose above the storm. "Our wishes—and our bonds—will overcome destiny!"

Condor's expression darkened. "Thinking like that, you'll only end up swallowed by destiny—trapped in endless conflict. That's why I will create a better world! Let me show you what despair truly means!"
