Y/N'S POV

"Holy shit Ray! Theres other people here besides us!" I exclaimed as everyone ran to get closer to the two boys that were surrounded by giant wild demons.

"That or it's someone in our group who's just messing with us" He replies back to my comment.

Don, Ray, and Oliver, all shoot their arrows at the three demon's eye to kill it immediately. A loud thud was heard as the demons came in contact with the ground and lay there with their own pools of blood.

"An arrow...?"

The bandanna dude questions the wooden arrow that landed in the demons eye. As he got closer to inspect it, he felt something circular on the back of his head.

"Don't move, who are you and what are you doing here?"

Ray questions the boy who quickly puts his hands up to surrender. Emma and Don both do the same to the other boy with spiky hair and a cardigan.

Silence was all that was heard, then the bandanna boy started to move, he turned around to look at Ray who still held his gun up at the boy and he put his head to the ground in a thank you gesture.

What?

"Um, are you okay?" I ask him as he just repeats the same words over and over again.

"Thank you very much!!"

Everyone looks at him in shock for two reasons, one, he just took us all by surprise, two, he's shouting too loud, the demons are totally going to hear him...

The boy continues to shout at us about how grateful he is towards us and even holds Emma's hands and still shouts even though she's right there. No but seriously, is he okay..?

"You idiot! Get your hands off of her!! To do such thing to the people who saved our lives!!"

His friend grabs bandanna boy's hands off is Emma's and then they finally realize that we too, are humans. Took them long enough.

"They're kinda stupid for being out here by themselves, don't you think?"

Vin nudges my arm to get my attention as I study the two mystery boys that were in front of us all, shocked to find out that we are humans.

"Yeah, they act young. Like 5 year olds but they don't look 5 from here"

I reply. I watch the scene as Emma smiles awkwardly and Don and Ray telling them to lower their voices since it could attract demons nearby. Emma asks them questions and surprisingly they answer back calmly even though just seconds ago they were louder than ever.

The calmer boy speaks for the both of them, "Right, my name is Jin, and this is Hayato".

Hayato looks at Emma as Jin explains to everyone that they are under someone to achieve a goal, he notices the numbers on her neck.

From my view I could see his brain explode

"AAAHHHHHH!!!"

Hayato yells, scaring and surprising everyone and even the birds listening from above, he realizes that Emma and her family are Grace Field Escapees, both Hayato and Jin freak out and admire them.

The Grace Field escapees looked extremely uncomfortable...

We all find out that Hayato and Jin were saved by the one and only, William Minerva and that they are allies of him. Which explains a lot.

"You seem happy Emma" I tell her as she slightly moves her head to face me.

"What? Oh yeah. I just can't believe that William Minerva is actually alive after all of these years" she says then takes a deep breath. From her face expression I could tell that she was relieved with this news.

"Well, I'm happy for you, we all finally got some good news after everything we've been through, it feels like a reward"

I make a comment back to her, I could see her staring at me and listening hard into my sentence. Emma nods her head in agreement.

It was nice to see something new in the forest, after so long of being here and doing the same routine over and over again, it became really tiring .

I felt relieved for a bit and I could see everyone feel relaxed, well maybe because we stopped walking.

Jin and Hayato tell Ray and Emma about the route to take back to their base, I personally was very excited, I wanted to meet Mr. Minerva so badly! I would be nice to see many other people, to communicate to others again.

As everyone was cheering up and talking to our new friends, I noticed Dominic looking a bit down ever since the accident. I walk over to him and all of his friends trying to cheer him up,

"Dominic, I wanted to give you this, it's so you can get better faster and feel happy!"

He changes his attention to me and tilts his head in confusion, I kneel down to match his level and pull out from my backpack a whole notebook full of everyone's lovely and nice messages to Dominic, telling him that it'll get better from now on, that he is safe and we will continue to care for him.

I see him tear up a bit as he reads the heart warming notes, tbh I even cried a bit. I put my hands out in front of him asking if he wants a hug. He instantly accepted my hug and we stayed like that for a while until he was ready to continue.

I didn't really get to know Dominic that well even though I was here for some time, there's just tons of kids in our huge family, not complaining, kinda. Getting to know everyone by heart and knowing all of their likes and dislikes would take years to master.

But just for a few minutes of talking to Dominic, I felt a click, it felt like he and I were friends for so long. It felt like we knew each other for so long. Dominic thanked me again for the notebook and went on his way to play with his adorable sisters and brothers.

They all are so cute 😞💗

A few minutes pass and I watch Emma place her hand over Chris, she was smiling seeing how it looked like he was getting better. But he wasn't, Emma's smiled dropped after she realized it.

Chris's condition was getting worse and if we all continue like this and keep walking to go to the new base. He won't make it.

Chris would die on the way there.

"His immunity and physical strength are dropping, it takes 3 days until we can get to Minerva," Zach explains what will happen to Chris. Their faces show their concern for Chris.

Losing another person was not what we wanted.

Ray questions in disbelief, "Is there really nothing we can do..?"

His voice echoed though the huge forest, it felt like it lasted forever and echoed into the sad and bitter atmosphere. Everyone was speechless and lost, why Chris, why did they all have to die, what did they do to deserve this brutal punishment...

We're just kids...

Hayato, firmly places his hand on Emma's shoulder to tell her a way, a way to save Chris.

"There's another way, don't give up"

Emma was taken back, was there really a way to save Chris, please, let there be a way.

"To save Chris, we need the plantation". Hayato says, "There's a line farm nearby, we can save Chris with the medicine we'll steal from there". As he continues, our hopes came up.

Hopefully Hayato was right about this farm and this skeptical plan, I trust him with this, I want to trust him.

Let's sneak into the plantation!
