"I can't let other people see me, especially those who know me. I'll just destroy them! I will ruin their lives, and my conscience can't do that. I truly hope that you did not save me. Those who wanted me dead will undoubtedly look for my body and ensure that I am truly dead!"

Louelita's emotions overflowed, causing her to utter those words unintentionally, even though it seemed that nobody paid any attention to her emotional state. Sister Faith held the utmost importance in her heart. Tears streamed down the young woman's face as she buried her face in her palms.

Her tears cascaded ceaselessly, a torrent of emotion that blurred her vision. Lost in the depths of her sorrow, she struggled to recall the events that had led to this moment. Yet, despite the haze of confusion, she found the strength to utter those words, for deep down, she understood that there was no refuge to be found elsewhere.

Ezra felt a surge of surprise as he heard the woman's words. He couldn't help but wonder who committed her murder and how much suffering she had to go through in order to have such a tearful outburst. His desire to comfort her was strong, but he refrained from doing so out of concern that it might worsen her anxiety.

As the words escaped her lips, he couldn't help but sense the anguish she carried. Ezra was aware that she still had a strong desire to live, yet she couldn't help but notice that the woman she greatly admired seemed to lack her own sense of identity.

The woman continues to murmur to herself. He does not think about the people around him, but about what will happen to her.

Louelita used to have dreams, but upon envisioning herself confined within the walls of her own home, she relinquished those aspirations. She believed that her anxiety would prevent them from materializing. However, little did she know that her existence was about to undergo a profound transformation.

She will remain in hiding for the rest of her life, unable to change the fact that those who wanted her dead were powerful while she was powerless.

"Hey! Come on, stop crying." Ezra reached out, desperately trying to halt the woman's cry.

Ezra felt his strength wane as he heard the woman's voice, so full of helplessness. The weight of her words, declaring her life meaningless, was almost too much for him to bear.

"Stop your tears, for you are most welcome to remain in this place. I am here to assist you, which is the reason for my presence. You may not be familiar with my presence, but rest assured, I possess the ability to rectify any predicament that may trouble you, provided you place your faith in me," Ezra uttered with a solemn tone, observing as the woman's tears gradually ceased.

She bit her lower lip. Is it possible for her to place her trust in someone she doesn't know? Is it possible for her to survive if she places her trust in his words? Louelita was unaware, for she lacked the determination to forge her own choices. In response to Ezra's words, she remained silent, not uttering a single word.

In the meantime, Ezra desired her presence, as he relied on her. His entire being urged him to hold onto the woman, and he obediently heeded the instincts that emanated from within.

The woman found herself unable to articulate her thoughts. As Ezra eagerly anticipated her reply, she remained completely still. The woman keeps sniffing. She was torn, and this individual is a stranger.

Her fear stems from the belief that this entire situation may be a clever ploy to deceive her and earn her confidence, only to ultimately result in her untimely demise.

"Don't let your imaginations run wild; I'm not that kind of guy. Place your trust in my words," Ezra declared firmly. "With my unwavering protection, you shall endure, for I would shield you from harm, even if it meant taking bullets upon my own body." Louelita gulped, as no one had ever mentioned the need to protect her.
