"Boss, we made about ten phone calls to you once our plane had touched down. It seems that you were quite absorbed by the Lady, hence your lack of response to our call." It was Primo who uttered those words.
Louelita glanced at their faces upon hearing one of their reasons. The woman wasn't aware of the four people's startling similarities until that point. The woman surmised that they were likely siblings.
"I didn't hear my phone ring; don't make me look foolish. I am not an idiot like you," Ezra declared, his gaze fixed upon the four individuals who were shaking their heads in disbelief.
Louelita sat quietly, observing the conversation unfolding before her, feeling somewhat invisible amidst the chatter. However, the woman couldn't help but notice that their words were so carefully chosen that she couldn't detect any hint of hostility directed towards them. The tone of voice exudes a sincere sense of welcome and acceptance.
"Boss, you might say that you didn't really turn on your cellphone, so there would be no distractions," Vito stated to his boss. Vito and the rest of the group shared smirking glances. A smirk appeared on Ezra's face.
"So? What would happen if I did something similar? Does anyone have any objections to my actions?" Ezra presented a challenge to them.
The men promptly lifted their hands, as if questioning their right to challenge the boss's intentions, despite harboring no objections.
"Now, then, kindly introduce yourselves, or I shall have no choice but to escort each and every one of you out of this estate," Ezra declared, his eyes rolling in exasperation as a peculiar interaction unfolded between him and Louelita.
"Don't let your filthy mind run wild. Ezra," he added, his gaze filled with intensity, "neither Vita Mia nor I have done anything."
The four were especially taken aback when their boss called Louelita an endearment. Their eyes met, exchanging a silent understanding. Each and every one of them possessed a unique blend of Italian and Filipino heritage. They comprehend the significance of Vita Mia. The phrase "Vita Mia" in Italian translates to "My Life."
There is no need to ask if this is what their boss wants; they understand without explanation. Louelita wore a perplexed look on her face, yet she found herself lacking the bravery to inquire about it.
"What is it that you are waiting for?" Ezra voiced his discontent. They all let out a collective sigh and nodded in agreement. They humbly lowered their heads in deference to someone of higher rank.
"Good day, fair lady. I am Primo Kalus Alessio," the man greeted, attempting a wink, only to be met with Ezra's raised eyebrow.
"My lady, my name is Vito Klaud Alessio," stated the second, who was ready to shake Louelita's hand when Ezra beat him to it. Vito simply shook its head.
"I am Elio Klaed Alessio, at your service, Your Majesty." The third bowed down like a knight. Elio's approach to introducing himself is quite poetic. Elio didn't piss off his boss.
"I might be the final one, my lady, but I shall not be the final one in terms of safeguarding the moon of this empire. My name is Inizio Kaus Alessio, and I am always at your service," the last person stated.
Upon completion, their eyes widened and their grins stretched from one ear to another, much to Ezra's annoyance. "Stop looking at her like that!" In a fit of frustration, the man snapped, causing the others to burst into laughter.
Only four individuals, among them Omar, possess the capability to pose a significant threat to their superior in such a manner. The fear they hold for him is not strong enough to make them run away in terror at the mere sight of Ezra's anger.
