"But, boss -Omar, are you doubting my ability to make sound decisions?" Ezra interrupted his right-hand man's comment.

Without hesitation, he vigorously shook his head, vehemently denying the words that had just escaped his boss's lips. "Boss, have you considered the possibility of our enemies discovering your beach house? I am merely exercising caution," Omar replied over the phone.

Ezra felt his jaw tense up and his grip on the cell phone grew tighter, as if it could shatter at any moment. "Come over immediately and bring the doctor with you. My personal safety is not a matter of concern. Feel free to bring our men." Ezra's voice erupted from his phone in a scream. His hands gently hold onto hers, intertwining their fingers with a tender touch.

The woman shivers as her body is enveloped in warmth, a result of her fever. Two blankets had already been wrapped around the woman in an attempt to ease her trembling. However, rather than diminishing, her trembling only intensified.

Ezra's ears caught the sound of a sigh emanating from the other end of the line, prompting Omar to respond. "Sure thing, boss. We shall arrive at our destination in a mere ten minutes." Omar has provided an answer. Ezra didn't wait for him to finish the call as he had reached his beach house.

Ezra's gaze returned to the woman once more. The woman perspires, while the man consistently smudges it. The man remains unclothed. His main focus was on the well-being of the woman he had the ability to rescue.

He caught sight of her unclothed form and managed to control his impulses, even though he longed to passionately explore every inch of her being. His concern for the woman was evident as he noticed the gap between the heat of her body.

Ezra made the decision to choose the latter option. He continued to shut his eyes as the image of the girl's body resurfaced in his thoughts. He cannot feign ignorance of her entire physique, for it is truly captivating.

Ezra couldn't help but recall the woman's battered body, adorned with bruises and wounds, excluding the injuries on her legs and shoulders.

Ezra managed to halt the bleeding, yet what remained etched in his memory was the presence of a gunshot wound in close proximity to her chest. Perhaps the woman's heart had been struck, rendering it invisible to him.

Despite the presence of hospital equipment in his beach house, it is important to note that he is not a doctor. He finds solace in treating himself, as it has become a familiar routine for him. "F*ck, what the hell happened to you?" The man gritted his teeth, he said.

He gently rubbed the woman's foot multiple times, as it had become rigid and immobile. Ezra's mind was consumed with worry as he observed the woman peacefully slumbering on his bed. He desires that everything go smoothly for her.

In the world of Ezra, it is crucial that no living being, not even a tiny fly, has any interaction with the woman in question. Upon observing her trembling, he instinctively wrapped his arms around her in a comforting embrace. The cold has caused the woman to shiver.

Ezra found it difficult to put into words the emotions that overwhelmed him upon seeing the woman in such a state. He was unfamiliar with the sensation coursing through him, as it was entirely new to him.

A curious mix of emotions is beginning to surface in his heart and mind. Ezra cannot help but feel as though her face and entire essence are etching themselves into his heart, leaving an indelible mark that cannot be erased. He is unable to do so.

Little did anyone suspect that beneath the hardened exterior of this infamous mafia boss lay a surprisingly tender side, one that revealed itself effortlessly as Ezra interacted with strangers. He lacked concern for others, except for those whom he deemed necessary to eliminate from existence.
