Her heartbeat was the first thing to wake.

Two spasms that launched the rest of her body into motion. The beating of her heart caused a hot pain that laid dormant within her lungs to announce itself.

I need air.

She opened her mouth to breathe. Only for nothing to happen. The pain was suffocating. She couldn't feel anything but pain.

It hurts.

It hurts so much!

Someone please, please help!

Her surroundings were nothing but darkness. No concept of anything around the young woman. She could do nothing, nothing but silently gape her mouth as if it would do anything to help. Nothing.

Air, I need air.

I need to breathe.

I need to breathe now!

A force came around her, distress soon turning to euphoria. With a choked gasp her lungs began to fill.

Everything began to process at once the uncomfortable sensation of pins and needles inching from her face to the tips of her toes, as her nerves announced themselves loudly. Her brain flicked on like a switch, regaining its desperate control over her body. A sharp warm pain began from her veins as her blood, which seemed to be frozen in place, began to move through them. The void around her soon turned into a haze of blurs. Shifting and swirling until shapes began to form.

It was only then that she noticed that she was not alone. A small distance in front of her stood a figure, her eye had yet to fully adjust. Trying to make out the figure, they appeared to be nothing more than a blob.

She processed the figure, slowly concentrating on them. She could see the vague shape of their mouth moving. The figure was speaking, but she couldn't hear them. The loud ringing in her ears made sure of it. Though, she could still sense it was neither a human or god.

Her eyes did nothing but stare at the figure as it grew closer. Her instincts alerted her to move, to fight but she felt too exhausted to do anything.

She had no chance to react as the figure grabbed her face roughly. Staring at the blurred figure. Her vision began to return gradually as she finally noticed his features, a red mask marking. She had not even waited half a moment before launching him across the room. He landed with a grunt but recovered from the fall.

Her mind soon went into overdrive, as if injected by a stimulant.

Where am I?

What am I doing here?

What is going on?

He spoke with a deep laugh, stalking towards her. His features were nothing but unforgettable. Bearing dark hair of sorts all along their body, red mask-like markings on their face, a long black tail that had already begun to thrash about angrily. And those eyes, those golden eyes . "Sun Wukong" She seethed. He halted, his tail stopping before thrashing faster and much harsher.

"Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not Wukong.. I find it even repulsive to be compared to such a.. mediocre thing. I think some restraints may be necessary until you've calmed down.. or I might just end up killing you."

Purple fog engulfed the strangers hand before launching its way to her. She tried to move out of the way as purple chains tightly coiled around her body. A high pitched wheeze left her mouth in a rush. Her head hung forward limply, following its lead, her body crashed to ground right after. Contorting her head to look at him, he walked over to her. In a fluid motion, he roughly yanked her head up by her hair forcing her to make eye contact.
