She awoke to a sharp, audible thud. Still half asleep, she struggled to lift her legs. She croaked awake, pulling herself up. Stretching her arms above her head, she yawned unfazed of the raucous. Weapons of all sorts were in disarray on the floor a few feet in front of her. Macaque loomed over them, annoyed at the mess he had made. He had been training earlier in the morning, trying to tire himself out as he waited for her to awake. But that didn't quite turn out how he had wanted. His ears twitched, alerting him that his guest was finally awake. He turned to look at her speaking in a low grumble, "Well look who finally decided to wake up." There was a twinge of annoyance in his voice, clearly agitated at the mess and possibly her.

"I got you some clothes, so you would look more of a mortal. Ya know to blend in and stuff." He stated uninterested, he made his way to the table, disregarding the mess on the floor. The table was much more organized then yesterday and he lifted up a dress. He showed it to her, letting the dress fall naturally in his hands. She looked at it curiously, it was a traditional dark qipao dress that ended right below the knees, with a golden hemming that lined the bottom and the chest area. "There was no need for that, but I am thankful.." she swiftly moved towards him, touching the fabric delicately. It was as smooth as velvet.

"Yeah well, since we're going to be with each other for a while you needed a more "human" look. We need to get going as soon as possible, so go get dressed."

He huffed, tossing it towards her. She caught it with ease and nodded, he pointed her in the direction of the restroom. Removing her tattered robes she slipped on the dress. Surly it was as expensive as it looked. The dress fit perfectly leaving enough room for her to move and stretch. She wore dark tights under the dress and slip on shoes. She looked to her tattered robe that laid on the sink, she could not leave it. It was all she had left. She took a piece of the fabric and ripped it as even as she could get it. She wrapped it around her waist, creating a knot in the back to secure it from falling off. She gazed into the mirror, her outfit made her look modest and pristine.

Yet, she felt off. The familiar gaze of her face felt normal, her arms and horns as well. She ached by her mere image. A part of her wanted to get her memories back just to know why she felt so out of sorts by just looking at herself in the mirror. Not wanting to linger on the subject any longer she quickly put her hair in a half up half down do and exited the restroom. Macaque impatiently awaited for her, once she came out he hummed a, "Not to bad." She smiled grimly. Looking at him she spoke, "We are going to be beginning to look for whatever we are looking for, correct? I think I should know what we are seeking for before we go too far. What exactly are we searching for?"

With a small chuckle, and a small raise of his hand. His purple mist began to circle around the wall across from them creating a dark mist. She furrowed her brows when he did not answer her straightforwardly. "Six eared–" , he cut her off by slipping into the portal, she stood awkwardly. Not really knowing if she should follow him or not. It was a good minute or two before he popped his head back out, grinning. "I need to show you little someone first." He pulled his head back in, this time implying that she should follow after him.

She stepped in front of the magical portal, puddle. Making sure to not get to close as to fall in. She slowly inched her hand inside, reaching to grab onto something for support. When she felt nothing she quickly pulled it back out. Her hand felt a bit tingly, but that didn't worry her. Placing a foot in, next, she tried to reach for any type of ground yet there appeared to be none. There was nothing on the other side. Was this a lure? A trap to imprison her once more? She backed up from the portal keeping a semi large distance away. Macaque was an ally now, he would not mean to harm her. Especially with the conditions she was now under. She gazed at the dark portal and sucked in a breath.

Hesitatingly she submerged her head inside, quickly pulling her whole body into the pitch darkness. It was as if she was underwater with no sense of anything around her. It felt oddly comforting. The quietness as quick as it came it ended as someone grabbed her arm and lulled her into the other side of the portal. A bright light came into view, blinding her eyes. Quickly her senses became overwhelmed. Loud noises and  strong odors blinded her senses. They seemed to be in a very, very populated city. But not one she has ever remembered seeing before, this one was far beyond it.

Macaque let go of her arm, closing the portal behind them. "This is Megapolis, you'll be visiting this place more then you're gonna want to." He shared with her, looking over at the buildings, disgusted. They had been transported on top of a building. She hummed out an okay, taking in the sights for herself. Taking in the new aromas and sounds. She wanted to go down onto the ground and explore the new terrain. New vehicles, entertainment, and cities she was excited to see how much the world had all changed since her imprisonment. Humans must have evolved over the years. Everything felt new and intriguing.

Macaque leaned over the edge, irritated at the group of people that spoke to one another below the building. After taking in the new world, she walked over to his side peeking over as well. There was a girl and two boys, accompanied by a pig demon. She was surprised to say the least as they spoke to one another like they were close friends. Demons were hated, weren't they? She glanced over the group then back to Macaque. His fur stood up and his tail was puffed out. He looked aggravated. She turned her gaze back to the group. There seemed to be a new person, her eyes widened. There was a monkey. A monkey that looked exactly like Macaque. Her breath hitched.

Is this Sun Wukong..

They looked familiar. It must be him! There was an uneasy tension in her stomachs. He had taken something from her. Stolen from her! She looked to Macaque and then to Sun Wukong. Macaque never spoke on what it was, but maybe this is what he wanted. He wanted her to figure it out on her own. Was the news so unbearable he didn't dare to say it! But somehow, she knew. She'd figured it out. Her body ached, she felt sick. A previous memory slipped into her mind, unwillingly.

"You've taken my wings, my wings!"She shrieked. His back was turned to her but she did not need to see his face to know who he was.
"Sun Wukong! My wings!" She weeped.

Instinctively she reached to touch her covered back, only feeling the soft velvet of her dress. She had wings. Sun Wukong had taken her wings. This is the man who took her wings! An overwhelming amount of sadness and frustration spilled from her. "That is Sun Wukong! He took my wings!" She wailed. Macaque looked at her then to Sun Wukong, he nodded pitifully. Without a second thought she began to trudge to the edge of the building. She was hurt, angry! Adrenaline fueled her veins, hues turning a bright emerald green. She rose one hand, a green mist surrounded the tips of her fingers. Macaque swiftly grabbed her wrist standing in front of her, using a good amount of force to stop her from releasing any sort of magic. "Unhand me, Monkey." She seethed pushing herself against him with all her force to try move him out of the way.

"No way! Look I know what he did wasn't all that great and all but he is stronger than you. Let's do this when we can actually stand a chance."

He grunted out, pushing her away from the edge. He didn't need her to go on a rampage already, it was to early in his plan for this. She freed her arm, turning away from the building's edge and from Macaque. Clutching onto her torso, she muttered a let's go. Going silent. He opened a portal and she walked through with no hesitation, he looked back at the edge. Smirking to himself, he chuckled lowly entering behind her and closing off the portal.
