She exited from the portal unfazed with the familiar feeling of pins and needles, that created a traffic jam in her nervous system. The portal shut behind her after a few seconds with a sharp snip. She was back at the dojo. She scoured the dim-lighted matted area in search of her companion. He stood by a wooden table. His back to her but she did not fail to notice his jerky features. His tail whipped around inconsistently as she observed his staggered appearance. She made her way towards him slowly. His ears twitched at the sudden movement, jerking his head towards the woman. She appeared in front of him as quick as he did; meeting face to face.

Neither spoke, she quietly looked him over. The silence was as loud as the battle she had witnessed only moments ago. His eyebrows were knit together, jaw clenched, and chest puffed out: to say he was infuriated was an understatement. His gaze returned to the table, nails digging into the woods. He was wordless with rage. He gave an exhalation of frustration, raising his head to look at her with a hard look. His mouth was set in a firm line before speaking in a delicate disdain, "Gods.." She stared at him as he scoffed aloud. His tone low and sharp.

"You are so useless! We could have won back there–no. I could have won! What is your deal, it's like you don't even want your things back. Did you forget why we're doing this."

He took an immediate offensive stance, belittling her and her power. A flash of annoyance covered her features. She stood up straight, eyes pulsing as she spoke nonchalantly, "Do not lump your mistakes with me, Six Eared Macaque. I did all that I was asked of." He chuckled dryly as he put a sharp finger to her chest. His eyes casted with an intimidating purple hue. He met her sharp gaze, as she scowled at him."Asked of? You did the minimum!" He slammed his hand on the table, his fur involuntarily spiking up like a feral cat. His body fully turned to her. Her feature were unmoving as he shouted, "You were brash. The mere thought of killing Wukong made you messy..weak," She spoke sharply with an almost taunting tone. If anyone where to be underestimating anyone it should be her.

He snarled at the sudden accusation, "And you need to know your place!" As if on cue, an unruly vine popped from under him and  pointed to his chin. Daring him to move another step closer. Her eyes glowing menacingly. He scoffed glaring at the demoness, he was beyond pissed, he opened his mouth ready to spout out a witty remark until a sharp pain caused him to grab his side and bite his tounge.

"Gods.." he groaned out, removing his hand from his side abruptly noticing the red blotching that truly meant he has gone weak. She noticed his falter, looking to his palm as well, she would have felt pity if it weren't for the fact that he had been belittling her. She watched closely at his demeanor, his knitted brows and red stained claw like hand. "What the hell.." he winced once more grabbing at his side much harder. Hissing in dismay as he shoved past her making his way to his "room".

"You'll cause harm to yourself." She followed behind him speaking softly, he tsked turning his back to her, he laid on his mattress. Focusing on his breathing, hoping for his healing factor to kick in but to no avail a small puddle began to form in his hands and the sheets. He moved to sit up hand clasped to his side. She watched as he struggled to to sit himself, before moving towards him settling on the floor besides him. He went to stand but was quickly stopped with a hand to his chest. He huffed slumping back onto the sheets, she reached both her hands to his left side caressing it gently. He watched her cautiously, groaning at the painful touch.

"Hey–"

A light golden glow similar to Wukong's began to emit from her hands. She chanted under her breath, the feeling felt unreal the pain he had felt suddenly become light and airy. It was nice. Her hands were an inch from his wound as she whispered to herself softly. Placing her hands on her lap, she looked at Macaque with a hint of worry. "I apologize for not asking. You were in pain and I.." she trailed off as he looked to his side lifting his tunic to reveal his chest.

After she finished healing him, he scoffed out "Healing factor, huh.. it's similar to Wukong's." She nodded grimly. "How were you able to do this?" He questioned as he ran a hand across his healed wound. She adverted her eyes speaking softly, "It was..second instinct to me. I remember a time where I was able to heal demons such as.." He huffed annoyed, "Myself and you," she continued, "When I lived in my forest, I have distant memories of rampant demons coming through in search of aid. Seeking me, for my help."

"Mistress, please." A large mammal-like demon with large horns stood in front of her. He bowed before her, his arm outstretched towards her as an act of pacification. She stared at the grand beast with nothing but morality. She looked around before settling in front of him guiding his hand gently back to his chest. The large bull-like creature sat with her as she gently began to recite a chant . Her fingertips flowed like gold as she continued with a gentle smile. "Thank you, Mistress (Y/n). I shall forever be in you debt, you have done so much for the Demon Bull King family." She smiled tenderly as he bestowed his loyalty, "I accept your loyalty with great gratitude, Demon Bull King."

She said thoughtfully, "I would heal them." He hummed in response, this new aspect had proven her to be more helpful then he had anticipated. He grinned grimly, her nurturing attitude would be the death of her.
