"No–no, try again." He huffed, annoyed. Sliding a hand down his face. They stood in the middle of the soft mats, talking amongst themselves. He had been trying to teach her how to master glamor magic. A disguise spell he used at times when he wanted to blend in with humans, which was rarely. They had been going at it for almost two hours now. She was just as frustrated as him, as he lectured her once more on the proper way of disguising herself. She tried once more Her horns sat atop of her head as she tried once more to mask them. Unsuccessful, she slumped her shoulders, looking at her reflection through the dojos mirror, "This is harder then it looks!" She groaned dramatically. In a flash, Macaque had taken off his glamor revealing six ears each tipped with a color, messier fur, and a scarred right eye. Though she only noticed through the reflection as quick as she saw it they vanished revealing his usual appearance. "Real hard, huh?" He remarked, facing her back towards the mirror. She rolled her eyes at him unimpressed with the quick change.

"Well it's not as if I've spent all my free time learning some disguising spell." She spoke sarcastically.

"If you keep on throwing temper tantrums like that then you won't be able to change at all, try to at least stay focused."

She huffed, closing her eyes, she took a deep breath, holding it in with puffed cheeks. I'm a human, a human with human features. With a sigh she released it. "Did it work? I don't feel any different.." Turning to the mirror she stared unimpressed. Pulling her hair back she looked at her pointed ears and horns. "Hmm.." Macaque sighed, scratching his head."How about you focus this time." She rolled her eyes doing as he said.

Alright, I'm a human a normal non threatening human that loves to do human things.

She breathed in and out slowly, exhaling to focus her concentration. "Am I a human..?" With her back turned to the mirror, she reached to touch her right horn, Macaque stared amusingly as she reached for nothing. To him it looked like she was holding air.  "Take a look in the mirror and you tell me." She turned to the glass of the dojo. She stared at her eyes then to her body, Nothing feels different. She turned her gaze to the mirror and sure enough. She looked like a human version of herself.

Her hand was on her horn, she could feel it, the roughness and one of her rings. But she was touching nothing, it was as if it was invisible. She pulled back her hair revealing human ears. She grinned looking at Macaque, "Six Eared Macaque! My ears are human and my horns are gone!" It felt weird to see herself as a human. Yet she couldn't help the excitement seep through her. Humans had always fascinated her. Macaque stood behind her laughing, he watched as she gawked over her new appearance. "Alright, now that you have glamor magic down. We need to go over our plan, alright?"

She hummed in response as they made their way to the wooden table. She stood by his side as he pulled out a golden scroll. Opening it quickly, he began to address the plan. "Your wings were taken by Wukong, right. So you would think they would be in the celestial realm.. but they're not." She looked at the scroll as he spoke, it showed a drawing of two large wings near a mountain. He continued, "This scroll is from the celestial realm and it says here that your wings are on earth.. on Flower Fruit Mountain."

"And where would that be?"

"Wukong's little oasis."

Her brows furrowed together, why would they be at his sanctuary and not in the Celestial Realm. Her stomach churned, slamming her hands onto the wooden table she exclaimed,"Why does he have my wings?" Shaking the contents of the table, the scroll rolled in on itself. He rolled his eyes before speaking. "Beats me. You can figure that out when we start moving things along." Briefly, he adjusted the scroll back in its proper place.

"Six Eared Macaque, will I have to meet Sun Wukong.." Rolling his shoulders back and shutting his eyes he breathed through his nose, tail grazing the floor from left to right. "I'm going to cause a diversion so you'll be able to get close to his apprentice." She gave him an annoyed look, scoffing, involuntary wrapping her arms around her torso. "Wukong has an apprentice.. then I should not have to worry that they are any different from one another." He chuckled lowly, "You really don't like Wukong, Do you?" She ignored him, continuing.

"And I assume that you would like me to get close to Wukong as well."

"That's right. You don't have to like the guy but just play friendly until then."

She nodded, for some odd reason she was intimidated by Wukong. The great sage equal to heaven. His mere name made her uncomfortable. But to have to see him face to face, as well as his apprentice. Her mouth tasted bitter. If Wukong is her enemy then so will be his apprentice. She looked at Macaque then to the scroll. She was already aware that Macaque had caught on that she did not like Wukong. But who could really blame her, her wings were stolen by him. She deserved some sort of sympathy, right?

"I will do what I must," Macaque opened his mouth to speak but was quickly cut off by her, "But if I sense that I am in danger I will not hesitate to initiate in a battle with Wukong." He scoffed, closing the scroll. "There won't be a need to do that. We're going to do this as smart as we can." He placed it down, sighing. His bored into hers, tone evident: "What Wukong did was wrong, let's show that to him. He deserves all the shit we're about to do. I'll have your back, alright." It was comforting. To her that's all she needed to hear, she would not have to face Wukong alone. Her monkey companion was starting to grow on her in all the best ways.

"Thank you, Six Eared Macaque."
