12.The Bus Ride

*Mitch's POV*

I walked on the bus with Avi,"did you find Scott?" Esther asked.

"Yea we di-"

I jumped in the conversation,"I don't want to hear anyone say his name. Understood?"

I quickly walked away fighting back tears and found a bunk to lay on.

I heard Esther and Avi talking quietly before Avi came to the bunk I was on,"You okay?" He asked.

"No I'm not. Tell everyone not to say his name I don't want to hear it, and don't let him talk to me," I demanded.

"Mitch maybe he had a reason, you need to talk to him at some point."

I stared at him for awhile, "If Esther found Darien kissing his ex in a hotel room would you tell her 'maybe he had a reason'," I snapped.

"No but... I'm sorry Mitchie I didn't think of it that way,"

"Don't apologize, just go tell the others," I said turning away from him.

Avi left and I formed myself into a little ball trying to block everything out.

A few moments later, I heard Esther yelling, I knew Scott had gotten on the bus. I was going to see what was happening but I didn't want to be anywhere near Scott. I heard Kirstie start to yell. I felt sick, the bus moving and the yelling made me nausea. I decided to get up and See what the yelling was about (even though I already knew).

When I walked out the first thing I saw was Scott,"Mitch!" He exclaimed.

I turned around and looked at Kirstie,"Tell him I don't want to speak to him or be anywhere near him."

Kirstie looked at Scott and smirked,"Mitch said he doesn't want to spe-"

"Shut up Kirstie I can hear!" He yelled.

"Scott don't fucking talk to her like that, she was just being a good friend!" I shouted.

"I wouldn't even be involved in this if you hadn't been treating him like shit for the past 4 years and acting like he didn't have feelings!" She yelled.

As the yelling continued Avi, Kevin, Mario, Jake , and the rest of the PTX crew came and sat in the lounge.

"I'm really disappointed in you Scott," Esther said shaking her head.

"I think we all are," Avi added.

Scott was getting pissed off,"So we're just going to sit here and act like Mitch is a fucking angel."

"What has Mitch ever done that is as bad as what you just did, Mitch is an angel." Kirstie Replied.

"Thanks queen you're an angel too," I told her ignoring Scott's existence.

"Why do you think him and Travis broke up?" Scott fired back.

"Because Travis was an asshole" Kirstie yelled, "why would you bring that up?"

"I brought him up because Mitch broke up with him to be with me. Travis was an asshole and Mitch cheated on him with me before and when I told him it was wrong he broke off his engagement with Travis."

"Well you broke up with Alex before because of Mitch so you're no different. The only difference is Mitch didn't go crawling back to Travis" Kirstie said.

I was close to breaking into tears, but I couldn't do that with Scott here, he knew Travis was a sensitive subject.

"Shut the hell up Kirstie none of this concerns you!"Scott yelled.

"Scott don't talk to her like that," Avi said defensively.

"Avi no one asked you to defend her we all know you're just doing this so you can get her later!" Scott yelled loudly.

Avi looked at Kirstie who had tears in her eyes, "You said you wouldn't tell anybody you asshole!" She cried.

"I didn't tell anyone I promise he is just saying things to make us all fight and right now it's working." Avi said trying to comfort her.

"Scott can you shut up for one second and see what you are doing," I yelled at him.

I looked at Kirstie who was crying, she had that look in her eye that she got when she was going to do something she would regret later.

"Kirstie whatever you are about to do please don't"

"Mitch I'm sorry I need to do this,"

Scott began to apologize,"Kirstie I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to say what I said, I wasn't thinking,"

"Scott just shut up! You're never thinking did you not think when you mistreated Mitch for 4 years of when you broke his heart," Kirstie yelled.

"Kirstie, please don't," Jake said sympathetically.

"No Mitch needs to know," She stated confidently.

The bus was silent,"The real reason Travis was such an asshole to Mitch was because Scott slept with Travis! There I said it!I've been holding that in for nearly 3 years!" She yelled.

"Scott you did what?" I asked breaking down into tears, "don't ever talk to me again," I ran back to my bunk and laid down.

How could he do this to me I loved him.I could still hear him cursing at Kirstie,"Why the fuck would you tell him that he's never gonna trust me again!"

Kirstie had gotten louder, "Why did you tell everyone about me and Avi! At least I'm not a slut like you and sleep around with anything that has a dick and breathes!"

Then I heard Esther yell at everyone, "That's enough, I don't want to hear you guys talk again for the rest of the day!"

It went silent. I curled back up into a ball and cried in silence.
