*Mitch's POV*
I woke up in a hospital bed with very little memory of what happened last night. I sat up and saw Esther biting her fingernails and Scott curled up in a ball next to her.
She hit Scott lightly, "Mitch is awake," She told him.
He sat up and smiled, "Mitchie!"
"Hey Scotty," I barely whispered.
Esther kissed me on the forehead, "I'm glad you're okay, I'll let you guys have some alone time."
"Thanks Esther" Scott said as she exited the room.
Scott came over to the bed and sat down, "How you feelin'?"
"Not the best," I confessed.
Scott frowned and pulled me in for a hug. He was hugging me a little too tight and it hurt but I hugged him back anyway.
"I'm tired," I told him.
"I'll go sit on the couch and you can sleep. I'll be here when you wake up" Scott said.
"No Scott, Will you lay with me?" I asked.
He smiled and laid down next to me.
"I hope you know if a nurse comes you'll get told to move"
"Nothing could get me to separate from you right now."
" I love you Scottland" I said before falling asleep.
I woke up a little while later, Esther and Kirstie were both sitting in the room.
"Hey where's Scott?"
"Coffee run" Kirstie said weakly.
"How are you feeling?" Esther asked.
I shrugged, "Just a little sore"
Esther sighed, " I shouldn't have told you to go alone."
"Est it's not your fault none of us thought anything like this would happen.
Just then Scott walked in.
"Good news!" he yelled.
"What?" I asked confused.
He gave Kirstie and Esther their drinks, "You can leave after you talk to the cops!"
"Okay,"
The cops walked in and asked everyone to leave.
"Hello" I said starting the conversation.
"Hello Mr. Grassi we have just a few questions for you" One of the officers said.
"Okay but I don't remember everything from last night very well."
"Just start from the beginning and take your time"
I explained everything while the officers took notes on what I said.
"We'll contact you if we find the suspects, take care" The officers said letting everyone in the room as they exited.
I hugged Scott when he came back in, "Scott I'm scared."
"What are you scared of?" he asked.
"Travis and Alex are still out there somewhere"
Scott stood up, "They won't touch you again. Come on we got you discharged while you were talking tot he cops, let's get back to the hotel."
We all got in Esther's rental car and drove back to the hotel.
