Chapter 28

It's been Six days since Eros brought me to this beautiful Island. And today is the last day, its time to go back to our real life tomorrow. No Island and definitely no each other. We will go back as a mere stranger with a past.

The whole duration of our stay here has been so enjoyable. It feels like, I have known him more. He let me know him deeper and it made me realized why I fell deeply in love with him. He shown me what I saw in him before. The care, touch and selflessness. He made me realized that falling in love with him is never a bad thing, but sadly, things happen and we're here, making it to the last day of being together. I'll definitely miss him. My one great love. My Cupid.

"Are you ready?" He asked me. I am on a blindfold since he told me that he prepares something for us. Ito na rin ang huling gabi naming magkasama and he said that he wants it to be memorable. I didn't complain because that's what I want too.

Atleast, I will have a good memory of him that I will treasure for a lifetime.

I smiled to him and nodded my head. Then suddenly, he started to remove the blindfold in my eyes. Unti-unting bumungad sa paningin ko ang nakakasilaw na ilaw hanggang sa umawang ang bibig ko sa nakita. We are now in front of the sea, with a candlelight dinner placed in the middle. Lots of white rose petals have been scattered on the sand together with a colorful lighting. I was really in awe as I look around the place. Hindi ganoong kaliwanang but the full moon lighten up the place. Its so... Romantic.

"Do you like it?" Nakangiting tanong niya. I smile at him and nodded.

"I love it."

Lumawak ang ngiti nito. "I love you too." May ngising sabi niya kaya naman ay sinamaan ko siya ng tingin pero kalaunay napangiti din. Damn this man for making my heart flutter all the time.

"Let's sit and make this night a really memorable one."

Iginiya niya ako sa table at pinaghila ng upuan bago siya naupo sa katapat ko. I look at the food, puro seafood ang nandoon, mostly dishes with shrimps which is definitely my favorite. Mayroon ding crabs and squids.

Ngumiti siya sa akin at siya na mismo ang naglagay ng pagkain sa plato ko.

"Thank you." I said with a smile.

"No, thank you. Salamat dahil pumayag kang manatili dito kasama ko kahit isang linggo lang. I'm really sorry for what I did and for what I have to do."

Nangunot ang noo ko sa huling sinabi niya. "Huh?"

Umiling siya. "Nothing. Let's eat."

Nagkibit balikat nalang ako at inumpisahan ng lantakan ang pagkain sa plato ko. Nang mapatingin ako sa kanya ay mukhang busy rin siya sa pagbukas ng crab dahil kunot na kunot ang noo nito. Nilapag ko ang hawak na tinidor at kinuha iyon sa kanya para ako na ang magbukas.

"See? Ang dali lang niyan buksan nagpapakahirap ka." Natatawang sabi ko bago pinagpatuloy ang pagkain.

"Eh sa hirap nga ako eh, palibhasa ikaw favorite mo ang mga ganito.." nakangusong sabi niya pero nagkibit balikat nalang ako.

Ilang minuto ang nakalipas bago kami natapos sa pagkain.

"Here, let's toast." Aniya matapos lagyan ng wine ang glasses ko. Ngumiti ako at kinuha iyon.

"Cheers to our new incoming life!"

"Yeah, cheers!"

Matapos uminom ay nilapag niya ang baso at tumayo sa harap ko. Kunot-noo ko siyang tiningala.

"Let's dance." Aniya sabay lahad ng kamay sa harap ko.

"Gago, wala namang music eh!"

Nagkibit-balikat siya at nanataling nakalahad ang kamay sa harap ko kaya naman ay natatawang ginagap ko iyon. Nilagay ko ang kamay ko sa balikat niya while his hand settle on my waist. And there, We stood in the middle of the seashore, with the moon shines so bright as I feel the cold night breeze of the ocean, I stare at the most handsome man I met. His deep gray eyes makes me so lost like I just want to get burried within. Masyado iyong nakakahalina. Na kahit sinong mapatitig ay maaakit talaga.
