"Got you." Percy said from the top of the tower he was standing on looking into the prison, looking handsome as ever with the morning light surrounding him. "East wing, second floor." Percy said swinging into where we were all sitting landing next to Grog, as I was sitting on the edge on the other side looking toward where Archie would be, being held then.
"Uh... What is that thing?" Grog asked looking at Percy's invention.
"This? Oh, nothing but bad news." Percy said smiling down at the gun he had finished making, proud of himself, making a small smile flutter across my lips before disappearing, my worry over Archie being more prominent at the moment.
"Okay, this is how it's going down." Vex said standing from her sitting spot across from me. "It'll be easier to avoid capture if we split into two teams. Front door team and back door team. Keyleth, Grog, and I will be front door team. Ophelia, Percy, Vax and Scanlan will be the back door team."
"You know Scandog's all about the back door. But quick quesh: when has splitting the party ever worked?" Scanlan asked.
"Uh, since shut the fuck up." Vex said in reply before we split ways.
Vax, Scanlan, Percy, and I made it to the back door without being seen and Vax would pick lock it while the rest of us circled him as look out. I had my rapier in my right hand and my dagger in my life making it easy to not only do my crimson rite, if need be, but also cause having a second blade is helpful.
"Almost. Damn. I've almost got... Shit." Vax kept grumbling to himself as we turned from our look out spots and just watched the half-elf struggle with the lock. "Ah, wait, I've got it now... Fuck, shit, fuck. Are you kidding me!?" He asked angrily as his lock picking supplies broke.
"Fucking door." Scanlan said angrily. Then Vax and Scanlan tried pick locking it with a knife and the broken pick lock tools only for Scanlan to get cut by the knife. "Ah! Oh, my fingers."
"It's not a door. It's a thing of evil." Vax said in a slightly whining voice making me laugh softly.
"I'm going to find a window." Percy said walking to the building, "Are you going to join me love?"
"Sure, why the hell not." I said as I joined him, and we almost made it through the window. If Percy hadn't of lost his footing and fell accidently grabbing me and pulling me down for the fall with him.
"Ahhh!" We both screamed as Percy landed on top of Scanlan, and Vax, while I landed on top of all of them.
"I fell out of the window." Percy said very matter of fact his tone sounding very bored.
"And dragged me out with him." I groaned rolling off of them and helping Percy up first.
"So, what do we do now?" Percy asked as he brushed the dirt off of my clothes as I did the same for him, as one of the guards opened the back door whistling and throwing a bucket of piss on Scanlan and Vax who hadn't moved yet.
"Uh..." the guard said looking at all of us, as we looked back at him for a shocked moment, before Vax threw his knife stabbing the guard in the throat killing him.
"Ah. Ah... ewe." Scanlan said as Vax groaned in disgust as we ran in.
"Thank the gods." Vax said as we stumbled across the others. "Wait, what's this crowd?"
"Picked it up along the way. Why are you covered in piss?" Vex asked Vax.
"Picked it up along the way." Vax said as I rolled my eyes.
"Him and Scanlan didn't get up fast enough after Percy and I fell out a window and they got piss thrown on them." I said walking by Vex with Percy.
"You fell... what!?" She asked as I laughed and kept moving forward up the stairs to the second floor.
