"Take cover!" I called out quickly as we ran diving behind some fallen pillars to try and get a second to gather our wits together.

"Doesn't feel like the other traps." Vax said as everyone started taking out their weapons, I gripped my rapier and dagger tightly in my hands and jumped out of the way as a tentacle came down on the pillar we were hiding behind and ran behind Percy as he shot off a few shots with gun drawing its attention towards us its large red eye twitching back and forth.

"Great. We pissed it off." Keyleth panicked from where she was hiding.

"We do kind of have that effect on people." Scanlan said as I saw him standing right behind her peaking his head out.

"Bullocks." Percy said as his gun ran out of bullets and Pike jumped in front of us with her shield.

"I got you!" One of the tentacles came up and slammed her into the wall as I quickly sliced it with my rapier causing the aberration to screech in pain as another tentacle flung itself out of the ground and slammed into me throwing me into Percy as we slammed into the wall next to pike groaning. I looked up in time to see Grog jumping towards the creature with the blade he got from Stolas Briarwood before another tentacle slammed him into the wall and a red electrical lightning started appearing on the tentacle.

"I feel weird!" Grog called out in a strained voice before he turned to stone.

"Grog!?" Keyleth and I called out as I stood up pushing myself up from the ground and yanking Percy and Pike up with me as we took off running as another tentacle came slamming after us.

"He's not dead. I think he's just petrified." Pike yelled as we ran.

"Oh, just petrified?" I called out sarcastically.

"Really?" Percy said also sarcastically adding onto my statement a small smile making its way onto my face as he did before a tentacle burst from the ground in the middle of all of us throwing us into the air with a scream.

"Come on!" Pike yelled frustrated as she threw a golden shield at the aberration.

"Damn it, it's everywhere." Vex called out also frustrated as she shot off some arrows at the creature as they got stuck in the tentacles.

"This is bloody ridiculous!" I yelled as I sliced at another tentacle before jumping out of the way my back landing against Percy's back as he loaded his pepper box again and started firing off more shots. "Aim better, love." I smirked at Percy as I said this because dammit it if I get petrified without at least sassing the man.

"Maybe I could if you would cut off more tentacles in time." Percy said barely turning his head toward me with a raised brow.

"Oof, that's a blow to the ego." I said shaking my head an amused smile on my face as I sliced at another tentacle not cutting it off but at least slicing it really deep.

"Yeah, come on, please. I got him." Scanlan called as ice encased the aberration. Only for the ice to immediately shatter, but it was enough time for Scanlan to create his gigantic purple hand and bring it crashing down on the aberration sending a wave of crushed rocks and dust our way. Percy turned around and tucked my head into his chest so I wouldn't get any of it in my eyes. We all looked up and gasped darting to the sides as tentacles shot out of the dust cloud and came towards us again.

"Nothing's working." Percy called out as we ran across the length of one of the walls with Keyleth.

"Great obvious fucking realization, love." I called out rolling my eyes and gasped seeing four tentacles come towards us as Keyleth blocked them off with her vines causing the tentacles to go up into the air and then turn back towards us and everything went dark.
