"Sister." Vax said softly as he hugged her against him as we all hung our heads tears falling down our cheeks.

"Oh shit, they found it." I heard Zahra mutter behind us before her and Kash gasped.

"Pike, heal her." Keyleth said clutching onto Vex's hand sniffling as she looked up at the cleric.

"There's nothing to heal." Pike said panicked as her hands glowed trying to heal the poor half-elf.

"Somebody do something!" Vax cried out his voice cracking as he tried to hold back a sob.

"Z, we can't just stand by." I heard Kash say to Zahra softly before running over. "Let me see her." Kash kneeled by Vex taking the spot where Vax was kneeling. "We could try resurrecting her."

"A revival rite?" Pike asked as she gently moved some hair from Vex's face as Kash brought out a glowing spear drawing carvings into the floor, "I-I've never tried that before."

"Not many have. It's hard to pull off so we got to do it while the body is still warm." Kash said glancing at me for a moment reminding me of the first time we tried reviving someone and the relief we felt when it worked. "Lia, I'm going to need your help for it again also."

"Why? She's not a healer." Percy said confused as I sighed and took out my small dagger.

"I'm not a healer, not really, normally I can just heal myself slightly if I haven't used to much blood already, so we discovered I can use it to amplify someone else's healing, but it takes a lot out of me." I said kneeling down next to Kash as he finished drawing the runes.

"Pike, you'll need to help heal too." Kash said as the radiant spear faded from his hand disappearing, as I pricked the tip of my finger running blood along the top of Vex's forehead.

"This can't be happening. Who was with her?" I heard Vax ask from next to us as Kash set his hand on the ground and the circle and ruins he drew started glowing as I cut my palms and also set them down on the ground as my blood started soaking into the ruins making the radiance glow brighter, followed by Pike trying to also use her healing magic. The glow started raising up Vex's body and incasing her in a glowing orb.

"She's gonna owe me big-time for this... if it works." Kash said as sweat dripped down his temple, my body itself was starting to feel weaker from using so much blood, but I couldn't let Vex die, I just couldn't.

"Spells not holding." I said clenching my teeth letting more blood drain from my body into the spell.

"Come on." Pike said as sweat also dripped off her temple as the golden circle flickered around Vex. "No, it's not working!"

"Cause we're inside her temple." I said exasperated blinking away the dots in my vision.

"This is the domain of the Matron of the Ravens. She's too fucking strong." Kash said the strain in his voice noticeable as he tried his best to keep the healing circle going.

"Can we maybe move Vex somewhere else?" Grog asked concerned playing with his hand in front of himself out of nervousness.

"We're underneath a lake. There is no somewhere else." Percy said angrily and panicked.

"There's-there's got to be another potion or something." Scanlan said as it sounded like he rummaged through the bag of holding.

"It's no use. She's done for." Zahra said very matter of fact making me want to turn around and slap the shit out of her.

"Pike, why isn't this working?" Percy asked on the verge of almost having a panic attack himself, "You can't give up. Please!"

"Vex." Scanlan called concerned when the golden orb suddenly shattered and Vex's body fell back to the floor.
