Chapter 25 (His)

I swirl my tongue inside my cheeks as I finish a shot of glass. Luminga ako sa katabi ko na nakatitig lang sa baso niya. I shook my head and turned around.

I watch the lights go around and change to different colors, dancing with the upbeat music. It complements the moves of the people dancing at the center. They all look enjoying, huh.

Tumalikod ako muli, I poured another drink and drank it. I look over Sawyer. Napangisi na lang ako na ngayon ay nagtitipa na ng mensahe.

"Oh, what's up brothers!"

Simultaneously, we faced the owner of the voice. My brother. Chain is here, it's his colleague's party anyway.

I shrugged.

Tinungga nito ang hawak nitong alak, akmang may sasabihin nang may tumawag sa kanya sa kabila. Later on, another two visitors came on our way.

I raised a brow when their familiar faces throw a glance to us. Sawyer nodded at them.

"Costarez, Fuego," bati ko sa dalawang lalaki.

"Hey," Joshua Fuego greeted back. He pulled the chair at the side and ask for a drink. Lazandro Costarez nod in acknowledgement and did the same.

We didn't even talk. It's as if, we all just put ourselves in the side because we didn't actually want to indulge ourselves to the fun of the party. Lahat kami ay tahimik na umiinom nang bumalik ang kapatid ko.

"Hey, party poopers. Aren't you going to enjoy the party?"

I threw Chain a glare. "Or stop minding us, will you?"

I grab another alcohol and directed my gaze at the pool of people.

"Woah. Easy, kuya." Humalakhak ito. "You two, pwede niyo naman akong tanungin about the people you miss!"

Bahagya akong natigilan.

Damn.

Huminga ako ng malalim, hindi siya tinapunan nang tingin. Sawyer is different,  from my side I saw how he straigtened and  glance at Chain.

"What are you talking about?" tanong nito. The two other guys raised brow in curiousity.

Chain smirked. "See what liking younger people do to you," he mocked. "They were only starting to explore guys, and you're just part of their exploration..."

My lips parted. What the heck is he talking about. This is why I don't like drinking with him! He always speak irritating stuff whenever.

"And that nonsense mean what?" Lazandro annoyingly rebutt followed by Joshua's whistle.

We all weirdly look at him.

Mabilis naman itong tumaas ng kamay tila sumusuko. "Wowoah. I didn't know you all are facing the same problem."

Muling tumawa ang kapatid ko. Tinaas pa nito ang hawak na alak. "Cheers to these men whose heart are broken by girls who maybe only see them as experience!"

Mariin akong napapikit. He's drunk already!

"You don't know what you're saying,"

"Stop talking,"

"That's nonsense, you don't know her."

Sabay-sabay na hinaing naming tatlo. Ang kaninang lukot na mukha ni Fuego ay natutuwa na rin sa nasasaksihan. What's wrong with these people?

"Baka naman kakaganyan mo sa kanila, masali ka rin Fuentes—Chain." Hinabol niya pa ang huli. Chain acted as if he'll vomit and just left us. 

Marahas akong napabuntong-hininga. My eagerness for alcohol increased. Hindi ko maiwasang alalahanin ang sinabi ni Chain.
