Hear the mind's need

"How many kids do you want?"

My brows lifted and smirked to my wife. I bit my inner cheek, she's my wife now. Napangiti ako. I finally got to address her as my wife, and that I'm his husband.

I stared at her face as she leaned more to my chest. We are currently resting at the sun lounger after swimming. Kami lang ang narito, this is a private place that we chose for our honeymoon.

"Hmm, I want a big family." Kalaunan ay sagot ko. I encircled my arms more to her waist. Her slender body is emphasized more by the red two piece swimsuit she's wearing.

"I also want that! I want to have at least four kids. We can have two sons and two daughters," She dreamily said.

I smiled at the thought and nodded continuously. "Then four pregnancies, baby."

Tumingala siya kasabay nang pag-angat ng kamay, giving me a thumbs up. "Mommy said it's very hard but it would be worth it."

Bahagyang natigilan ako. Right, is she going to be totally fine during that? We should consult a doctor first. I nodded at my own thoughts.

"I'm going to accept the position next month," I suddenly opened up about taking over our construction company.

Umangat siya at umayos ng upo sa harap ko, she turned her body side ways making her legs over my right thigh and her head facing me.

She potruded her lips and acts as if she's thinking. "So, the president of the company next month is my husband!"

I raised my brows and just shook my head a little while smirking at her. "Yes, baby."

"Eh, saglit!"

Natigil ang akmang pagpulupot ko ng braso sa kanya nang umungot siya. "You're going to be very busy!"

I stilled for a second. That's kind of true. I licked my lips and encircled my arms to her once again, pulling her body more to mine.

"We're going to be, but we'll always have time for each other..."

"My parents do, but their time for me was compromised at times!"

Huminga ako nang malalim. We just got married yesterday, and today's just our first day of our honeymoon and we haven't even consumate our marriage yet.

But looks like we're going to have our first small argument as married couple.

"Demand from me wife, if I happen to forgot I'm not making time for us..." I softly assured as I placed my chin abover her delicate shoulders. Smells so good.

She didn't speak.

"Baby,"

Umiling siya nang bahagya. "Are you sure? What if I demanded from you and you feel like I'm not being understanding..."

I nibbled my lower lip.

Zallistine is a good daughter. She never spoke bad about her parents busy schedule and how she just settled with some things because she understood that her parents are busy. She tells me how grateful she is that her parents can make time unlike other families from her batch.

But there are times of course, that she was alone. And those times get the most of her as an only child.

"Alright." I breathed out. "Do you want me to... reject the position instead, wife?"

Mabilis siyang umiling.

Natawa ako. "It would be fine though, we can just work together like what we're doing."

She straddled her arms, tumalikod siya at binagsak muli ang katawan sa aking dibdib. I smiled seeing her adorable expression.

"N-no, that's not it... I'll also take over our company soon." She said that made me nod. "I'm just being clingy kasi, I guess."

"Who's not clingy here, baby?"

"Right, no one. Ikaw nga you're more clingier!" She spat and pointed at my hands all over her waist. "It's fine, I love your warmth!"

I smirked, my wife's honesty is so sexy.

"I need to take over our company, 'cause we're going to have lots of babies." I said and moved my arms away from her belly.

"Hey!" She yelled a bit when I scoop her and stood up, carrying her in a bridal way.

I grinned at her and give her a smack on her lips. Mabilis siyang napakapit sa braso ko at humagikgik.

"Let's start for our first child now," I whispered.

She nodded indulgently, "Okay!"

I bit my lip. Damn, nanggigil ako.

"I love you, Zallistine Fuentes..." I said as I showered her kisses on her beautiful face as I placed her on our bed.

Her soft lips meet mine, napangiti ako. I just love everything about her. I never got to hold her, feel her soft skin and indulge in her warmth but she was attracting me too much that I start thinking a future ahead of us.

We are in a steady close relationship but unlabeled. It was making me assume I'm still the only one she was interested to, the one she will only like and will love.

But hearing her say yes to be my girlfriend, say yes to be marry me and her I do to become my wife. It was more. It was like hearing my mind's need and now my heart has finally settled to Zallistine. Clear and happy.

We will be hurt along the way, but at the end of the day her love is the only assurance my mind need to hear.

"And Ar. Zallistine loves Engr. Chase so much!" She grinned. "I love you, husband."
