Penny by penny is how you succeed
You count every coin, only spend what you need
Never give away, never give up
You can't help the world, but you can wish them luck
Penny by penny
I built an empire
I came from a rathole
I came from the shire
And now when folks see me, the all call me sire
They wish me good health!
For my wealth they desire!
Penny by penny
I built castle walls
I bought my own robes, my own dragons, and wolves
Penny by penny,
That's how you survive
That's how you turn rich
And bless your own life
---
Penny by penny
I built my own cage
A prison of money
I won't ever escape
Penny by penny
I met my demise
I bought my own place
In the afterlife
No golden, tall gates
Will wait for me there
Only suffering, and penance,
And useless regret
Penny, by penny
I destroyed myself
All the coins in this world
Won't be able to help
My wealth is of no use when
My health is not well
I wish I had tossed them all in the well
I wish I had used them, to make something good
To help all the needy and misunderstood,
But now it is late, to undo what I've done
Penny by penny
I lost everyone
I lost all the chances to be a good man
If god can't forsake me
Tell me how I can?
Penny by penny...
This ending is mine
I bought it myself
When I wasted my life
