"He is where?" Zenigata asked and turned to Yata who just reported back on Lupin's current location. "Lynchburg, Virginia, sir," Zenigata groaned when he suddenly remembered... his niece lives there... and it was her birthday in a couple of days.

"Oh no," he mumbled and quickly grabbed his coat. "Yata, let's go,"

"Huh? What got into you inspector?"

"I'm gonna pay someone a visit,"

"Here is your drink, ma'am," the young woman said and put down the coffee on the table. "Oh, thank you," she said and Y/n walked off to clean after some customers when she heard the door into the café open and in walked a trio, all of them familiar to Y/n.

The three noticed her and walked over to her. "Hi guys! Having a great day so far?" Y/n asked and the red-jacket wearing man looked at her and smiled big, "Of course we do. But someone here have been grumpy all day because of a certain someone working extra," Lupin said and elbowed Jigen who glared at him from under his hat.

Y/n giggled and moved up Jigen's hat and hair to reveal his eyes to her as she smiled up at him. "Missed me?" She asked and the man scoffed a smile and hugged her shoulders, burying his face in the crook of her neck.
"Maybe..." he mumbled and Y/n rolled her eyes while smiling.

"Y/n," The called woman looked over to see her co-workers waving her over. "I better get back to work. I'll see you guys later, if you weren't gonna stay here and order of course,"

"No, no, we can't stay much longer. I have a feeling pops is on our heals again," Lupin said and Y/n smiled at the mentioning of her uncle. "In that case," Y/n said and kissed Jigen's cheek, "See you guys later!" She called once again before walking over with dirty dishes towards her co-workers.

Y/n stretched as she walked into her apartment that she was truly sharing with her mother and stepfather who was currently out of town and three sisters that had left for college.

So currently, she was living with Jigen who seemed to have fallen asleep on the couch while reading the newspaper.

Y/n smiled and walked over to see his jacket was slightly ripped. She sighed and shook his shoulder, "Jigen," she said and the man opened his eyes. "What?"

"Give me your jacket,"

"What? Why?"

"It's ripped by the end of the sleeve. Give it here," she said as the man before her sat up and took off his jacket, handing it to her.

Y/n took it to their shared room where she has her working desk.
As she was sewing together his jacket for the hundredth time. Jigen walked over and hugged her from behind as he held out a letter in front of her face. "What's this?" She asked and looked up at Jigen. "Look for yourself," he said and Y/n rolled her eyes and snatched it from his hand and opened it.

Her eyes widened... "It's... a scholarship... they're offering a fashion designer job..."

"Really?" Jigen asked and leaned over to read it himself, but Y/n quickly hid it from him.
"Why are you hiding-?"
