Y/n was standing on the roof, a couple feet away was their friends... partners in crime...

They smiled over at the others as Lupin was whining to Jigen about something again while Fujiko and Goemon rolled their eyes at him.

Y/n turned to look at the view and sighed, "A new year is near," "And that year is yours, Y/n," Fujiko said and walked over to hug them around their shoulders.

Y/n chuckled and hugged Fujiko around her waist, "You sure about that?"

"Of course... and what better way to stay that year... with confessing to the person you like?" She said and Y/n smiled and took a sip of their drink.

"Maybe you're right..."

"I'm always right," Fujiko joked and Y/n rolled their eyes and let out a small chuckle when the woman knocked on their shoulder and motioned with her head towards Lupin.

"I think someone wants you to go over there," Y/n glanced over at the man to see the man smile over at them. Y/n elbowed her, "Stop joking around... he's probably waiting for you," they said, not noticing that Fujiko and Lupin looked at each other.

Fujiko motioned with her eyes to Y/n and Lupin fixed his tie and confidently walked over.

"N/n(nickname)?" He asked and they turned to him.

"Hm?"

"Care to join me over there?" Y/n blinked rapidly but smiled, "Sure," they said and walked away from Fujiko.

Y/n glanced back at the woman who send them a wink and the two stopped at the edge of the roof.

The two sat down and Lupin gulped nervously... Y/n looked at him, "Why?"

The man turned to them, confused, "Why didn't you want Fujiko here? You've been all over her all these years,"

Lupin handed them a cigarette before letting his own. "What can I say? My love for Fujiko is not the same as my love for you,"

"Love for me? What are you talking about?"

"It's simple, I love you,"

They clicked their tongue and looked away as they put the cigarette between their lips but Lupin grabbed the collar of their shirt and pressed the tip of his lit cigarette to their's.
