Y/n quickly went into the car. "Uh, finally, you wouldn't imagine the line, anyways, here is your... coffee?" He said, slowing down at the end when he saw Lupin stare out of the window towards something or more like someone.

It was a woman, a gorgeous one at that. "Oh," Y/n said mentally, and looked down at the coffee in his hands when Lupin turned to him, "Sorry, did you say something?" He asked and Y/n smiled weakly as he just handed him the other coffee mug, "No, nothing,"
Lupin took the coffee and looked at him with a slight tilted head but shrugged it off as Y/n started the car.

It's been a couple of days since Lupin was caught staring at that woman and he's been very distant.

It's now Christmas and the two were celebrating with Jigen and Goemon when Y/n walked up to Lupin and motioned to the balcony.

Y/n went to get his scarf and his it it on before the two went out and sat down on the bench that they had.
Y/n glanced at Lupin who stared up at the moon.

"Hey Lupin?"

"Hm?"

"You've... been kind of distant lately and I just wanna know... did something happened?" He asked and Lupin looked at him for a moment before looking away once more, "Nothing happened,"

Y/n frowned and held his scarf tighter to his neck and face, "It's because of that woman... isn't it?" He asked and Lupin looked at him, shocked. "So you noticed,"

Y/n didn't answer as he just glanced away, waiting for Lupin to answer. "She's the woman I once loved," Y/n glanced over at him.

"I haven't seen her around for a while, and she kind of caught me a bit of guard, I guess," he said and Y/n looked down, "Do you still love her?"

Lupin stared at him, examining his sad expression. He smiled and hugged him around the waist and moved him closer to him with Y/n's head on his shoulder.

"Since a certain man suddenly appeared into my life... who has time to care of the past?" He asked and Y/n looked up at him to see him smirking down at him. Y/n chuckled and snuggled closer to him, "Marry Christmas, you monkey,"

Lupin chuckled, "Marry Christmas, darling,"
