Chapter 11: Cruise Ship

"What's all this about..."
"Lesbians?"
"Maybe..."
People were surrounding the lockers, Ayanokoji stared at the note he found in his.
I slipped mine in my pocket.
Kanzaki, a member of Class B, crushed the note in his hand.
"What's the meaning of this Class C?!"
He walked over to a few class C members who were also holding the note.
"Why do you think we have anything to do with it?!"
Kanzaki grabbed his collar.
"H-hey!"
"You know what Ryuuen's been doing to them! They told you not to spread rumors!"

The class c member smiled. "Maybe they aren't rumors. Maybe there having strange lesbian se-"
The sound of a punch filled the room.
"What the hell Kanzaki?! We told you we didn't have anything to do with it!"
Another punch was thrown.
I wonder where Ichinose was at a time like this.

Shiho ran into the room, and kicked Kanzaki in the head.
"What the hell?! She just..."
"Oh, sorry Kanzaki, I thought you were harassing them."

She helped Kanzaki up.
"I was harassing them, did you even see this!?"
"I did, I did see it."

She walked over to us, and plucked the note out of Ayanokoji's hand.
"This can't effect class B. This type of thing won't work. Ichinose is already heading to the exam site. Like you all should."
She crushed the note in her hand, and left the lobby.
"Right we should..."
People began to leave the lobby.
I looked to Ayanokoji, and we both decided to head out as well.

We met Horikita right outside of the lobby.
She had a bag bigger than both of ours.
I didn't know what girls had to pack, but this seemed excessive.
"What do you have in there?"
"Games. I picked some games at the store that we could gamble with."

Ayanokoji looked at her bag. "Are they games we could play?"
She looked at us for a few seconds.
"I know I can but I'm not sure about you two..."

She didn't seem to trust us even though she was the one who invited us to her group.
Chiaki came up from behind, and slightly hit Ayanokoji with her bag.
"Are we ready to go?"
Horikita looked around.
"I guess we can go."

Kushida ran up from behind, slightly hitting me with her bag. Was this a thing with girls?
"Horikita your so mean! I told you to wait!"

She was acting mad, but she had a smile on her face.
With all five group members here, we headed towards the exam site.

"Wow.."
"It's huge!"

It was a cruise ship. A big one at that. Was this the exam site? This school really is indulgent.
"Let's go."
"Yep!"
"I wonder if we will be able to enjoy this."

Our group headed onto the ship.
In what seemed to be the main room on the ship, Class A's teacher stood on a podium.
The ship looked fancy.

"Hello all first years! Welcome to the ship!
I will now briefly explain what is going to happen for the next week or more."

Students stopped talking and looked up to the podium.
"Today you will decide your groups, enjoy the ship and plan for tomorrow. Tomorrow you will gamble all day. Gaining and losing money. The next day, you will gamble until 6:00pm. That is when the exam ends and the results are announced. Then you will be able to enjoy the ship, and the next day, we will explain the second part of the exam."

Students began to get excited at the words, "Enjoy the ship."

"I would like to enjoy this ship."
Ayanokoji nodded.
Horikita sighed. "Where do we make the group official?"
"Let's talk to him."
Kushida pointed to the class A teacher.
"Okay."

"Oh, so you already have a group?"
"Yes we decided before we got on the boat."

The teacher gave us each a slip of paper with our names on it.
"Okay, I will now tell you your worth in points."
He looked at a list.
"Suzune Horikita- 100,000 points.
Ayanokoji Kiyotaka- 30,000 points
Katagiri Yuuichi- 20,000 points
Kikyo Kushida- 125,000 points
Chiaki Matsushita- 120,000 points."

We all looked at each other. Everyone looked at me. It seemed I was worth the least in this group, with Ayanokoji in a close second to last. It was probably because we hadn't really made good grades, and we've really only interacted with each other.
Chiaki was still smiling, as well as Kushida. Horikita looked slightly dissatisfied but she probably expected this.

"Now, to sell someone, four members of your group have to agree, then the selling person turns their card in to us, and the rest of the group gets the gambling money.
If two people in your group gamble at the same time, your group will be disqualified.
Remember the 10% rule as well."

A person who was sold would have their value raised so they could not immediately be bought back. You would have to win a game, to get them back.
"Who is your groups commander?"
"M-" Started Horikita.

"It's me." I raised me hand.
Everyone in the group looked at me. They all looked confused, except Ayanokoji.
"Okay, then. Katagiri remember that you can not be sold, and if your class gets third or fourth place, you will lose all your points, but your value is now 22,000 points."

The teacher looked confused. We would get more money if Kushida's or Horikita's value went up instead. We thanked him and walked away.

Horikita looked furious.
"I'm going to go to the bathroom real quick!"
Kushida quickly walked away.
I watched her leave, knowing where she was going.
I tossed a wrench in her plan.

Horikita glared at me.
"Why did you do that?"
"Trust me, this is what we need to do."
Even Chiaki looked confused at this point.
"What?"
"We need to look for Kushida tomorrow."
"Why?"
Chiaki and Horikita stepped back again. Ayanokoji looked over to me.

"Because we have yet to start blatantly using her."

While me and Ayanokoji were standing on the deck, talking about the ship mainly, a kid in our class can up to us. He had glasses, but I didn't know his name.
"Hey, have you guys made a group yet?"
He looked nervous.
"Yes, sorry."

He looked disappointed.
"Dang. I really don't want to join a girls group, or the idiot group." He looked over to Sudo and Ike, who were playing around.

I looked over to Hirata, who was surrounded be girls, but hadn't made a group yet.
"What are you talking about?"
Horikita walked up, but I ignored her.

"Ask Hirata if you can join his group. If he agrees, tell him this."

I leaned over to whisper in his ear.
"Okay..."
He walked over to Hirata.
"What did you tell him?"
Horikita looked confused. I wondered where Chiaki was.

"Where he can find condoms."
I looked back over to Horikita. I must have had a scary look of some sort because she immediately walked away.

"Are you okay, you look tried."
I leaned against the side of the boat, Ayanokoji did as well.

"Im fine. I can't collapse yet."
I turned my head to the people on the ship.

"We have yet to crush every other class on this ship."

Ichinose, Shiho, Kushida.

I wonder if they will drop out after this exam is over.

I couldn't help but smile again.

If you are wondering, I am not doing Ayanokoji X Chiaki.

Yuuichi is a secret though, because he has a very, very LONG way to go before he gets to that point.

Ayanokoji's ship is going to come sooner in the book, because he will want to experience it.

But in the middle of games and this school, romance is the last thing on Yuuichi's mind.

Kei and Tenji are making an appearance next chapter. I will write them the best that I can.
