(Suzune Horikita POV)

Voices began to rise in the classroom, and it was strange knowing I was the topic of it.

"That sounds about right."
"She was in his group on the exam right?"
"I would've preferred Hirata."

I looked to Ayanokoji, who was sitting his head on his hand as he looked back at me.

"Their waiting for you. He's waiting for you."

I stood up from my seat, and the chair scratched against the floor loudly, halting everyone's conversations.

Keeping my calm demeanor, I made my way up to the podium.

Our teacher looked at me, then nodded.

"Okay, now that we've got that figured out, it's time to explain the rules of this special exam. I'm sure you're all familiar with this."

Behind me, she pulled up a stock image of boys and girls wearing colored headbands as they posed for a picture.

"A sports festival."

I answered with out thinking since it came as such as surprise.

"That's right. This will be your first of three sports festivals at the Advanced Nurturing High School."

She then pulled up a list of rules.

There will be 15 total sports events, some individual based, and some team based. Each student in every class must sign up for at least 3 events and 5 max.  Class points gained upon winning each event:

1st Place: 20

2nd Pace: 10

3rd Place: 0

4th Place: -10

After the festival is over, points will be tallied and the winnings for this are as listed:

1st Place: 50 Class Points, 200,000 private points.

2nd Place: 25 Class points.

3rd Place: 50,000 private points

4th Place: One Expulsion.

The max class points a class can get is 350, while the biggest loss  is -150.

"That is it for the sports festival rules, now lets talk about what comes after."

"After? Do you mean the final prizes?"

The slideshow already explained the final prizes and losses each class may receive.

"Yes, but this event is tailored to the entire school. The next slide explains the rules of the Firework Festival after all the events are over."

Idle chatter spread through out the classroom.

"What do you mean "the entire school?"

Yuuichi asked the teacher what everyone else was thinking.

"First years, second years, and third years will be participating in the firework festival, while the grades will be divided in the sports festival."

She clicked to the next slide.

After the final prizes are over, the firework festival will commence until midnight. At that time, students will be able to play party games places by the faculty all over the school. Party games will give point prizes if won, stored on a game card, and each and every student will bring their card to the point station once the clock strikes midnight, and results will be tallied. The prizes for this will be announced on a later date.

After prizes, students will be able to watch fireworks put on by the school.

"F-fireworks?!"

"Is this another two-parter exam thing?"

Slam!

Chab slammed her hands on the podium, and the class immediately shut up at the sight of an ice queen.

"The events for the sports festival will be announced tomorrow, and you will pick people the day after. I expect you to have a plan before that."

She looked to me and Yuuichi for the last sentence.

Just then, the bell rung, signaling the end of homeroom.

Now that they could, students rushed to talk to each other, but I turned to Yuuichi. I guess I was expecting something from him.

"Horikita."

"What?"

"Lets ditch here."

Before I could answer, he grabbed my hand, and let me out to the hallway.

"What are we doing? The days hardly over. If the cameras catch us out, well be more then just slapped on the wrist."

I began to pull back, but he turned to answer me.

"Then lets avoid them, shall we?"
