Friends were something foreign to me in the white room.

It wasn't just me either, everyone there knew it was a bad idea to have a friend that you might have to eventually take out.

They were unnecessary and a hindrance. This was the common belief and shared contract among us.

There was once a boy who came up to challenge me in hand to hand combat because a girl he had feelings for came to like me instead.

I won the fight with out mercy, and I eventually took out the girl as well.

In the end, he had just wasted his breath.

Every once in a while, I was taken to the show room along with one other person.

The show room was a smaller white space that had glass in front of it for viewing pleasure.

Me and the other person would usually fight or play a game of skill.

Every time I was taken to the show room, I always exceeded in taking out my opponents, and the people behind the glass would laugh, compliment, or rub their chin as if they were looking at a product for sale.

On one of the last times I was brought to the show room, there were two kids behind the glass watching me play chess.

One was a girl, whose reaction didn't interest me in the slightest, since she just stared at me like everyone else did.

The other was a boy with short black hair, and his reaction is etched deep in my mind.

He didn't look at me with eyes of interest or compliment me in any way.

Instead, he looked down on me with eyes full of pity or disgust.

Even though we had no fight and exchanged no words, I felt like I had lost against him in some kind of silent game.

That was start.

The beginning of a grand experiment.
