As soon as I let go of the teacher, a forceful hand grabbed my shoulder.
"What the hell do you think your doing?"
It was Horikita.
"Getting our group more money."
I stayed turned away from her.
"Why would we sell Chiaki? She is great in games, and I don't agree to it."

I turned around to finally face her.
"The hell is that look on your face?"
I wasn't sure what face I had on, but I was finding this to be very fun. So, I was sure I was smiling.
"You don't need to agree Horikita."
"What?"

I turned back to the teacher, who now had a grinning Chiaki next to him.
"The rule is, to sell someone, only the majority of the group needs to agree, right?"
"Yes, that is the rule."

I turned to Ayanokoji.
"Do you agree?"
He nodded.
"What are doing Ayanokoji?"
Horikita faced him as well.

He shrugged.
I turned to Chiaki, grinning as well.
"Do you agree, Chiaki?"

She nodded.
"I do."
"What? Why would you sell yourself, Chiaki?"
She shrugged as well.
"Who knows?"

Finally, Horikita looked back to me.
"What do you have planned? Or are you just getting off on selling our members?"

I took a step forward, walking past her.
I had to admit, I was getting tired of this.
"Brats who don't understand need to shut up and follow my steps!"

Everyone went silent after that. Even the teacher didn't begin walking after a few seconds.
"Let's go, Ayanokoji."

"What do you plan to do now?"

"Gamble."

All three of us headed back to the room.
"So, what do we do now. You two seem to have everything planned out."

I looked to Ayanokoji and shrugged.
"Do you happen to have cards in your bag?"
She looked confused.
"Regular playing cards?"
"Yeah."

She made her way over to the game bag.
"I do. A few deck's actually. It was in case we decided to play poker, but I'm sure the ship has cards as well."

I smiled.
"One deck will be fine."
She came over to the futon and threw them to me.
"So, what do you plan on doing with them? You need more cards for poker."

"I don't plan on playing poker."
She looked to Ayanokoji.
"What do you plan on doing then?"

"I think we can play war." he responded
She looked back to me.
"War? That children's game based on luck? Is betting on luck how you plan to get out of this?"

I shuffled the cards in my hand.
"Not regular war. Re-assemble war."
"What's that?"

"Well, you know how in war you can't choose what card comes next?"
"Yes..."

"Well, in re-assemble war, you read your opponents to try and guess what cars they will play next, and choose your card based on that guess."

She thought for a moment.
"So, you turn the game of war into a game of skill?"
"Basically."

"Hmm...I get it. It makes sense, but are you confident in your ability to read others."

I was confident in my ability, but...
"I won't be playing."
"Huh?"

"You will."

War is a simple game.
Each person picks the card on the top of their deck and lays it on the table. The highest numbered card wins, and the winner takes all other cards.
The winner can then reuse those cards, until they get all the cards, and win the game.
