(Chiaki POV)

As our group of 3 made our way back to the room, I couldn't help but wonder a few things.

I knew Yuuichi was different from most high schoolers. I had determined this myself.
I considered myself above most others as well.
I was always very perceptive.

That is why Yuuichi never slipped past me.
But...it seemed he had also blinded me.

Ayanokoji showed an insane amount of skill in all shogi games. Even with people of Class A, it seemed he didn't have a chance at losing.
I had to admit, I was surprised.

I usually would have been able to see through him as well...but maybe I was focusing too much on Yuuichi.
Ayanokoji had actually slipped past me.

Both of them had incredible talent.
Seeing them both walk side by side back to the room, gave me shivers.
I felt like a had the grin of a demon on my face.

I may continue my partnership with Yuuichi.

If they ever fight each other one day, it will truly be a sight to see.

I want to make sure I have a front seat.

(Ayanokoji POV)

It is now 5:45PM.
The second and final day of this special exam.

Our group currently has a high amount of points.
Possibly, the highest amount of points.

I'm sure right now, as we make our way back to the room, the rest of the plan is taking place.

Our group had only one task left. We needed to find Horikita to complete it though.
I guess we all assumed she went back to the room.

I looked to Yuuichi, who had a calm yet tired look on his face. Nothing like the energy he showed earlier.

I hope he can sleep a little before the next part of the exam.

When we turned the corner for the hallway, Chiaki bumped into the exact same girl I had ran into before.
"Ah! Are you okay?"

The girl fell to the ground.
She was quite fragile.
I picked up a book she dropped.
"The Catcher and the Rye..."

Oh, I remember now. I had said I was going to borrow this book from her. I didn't think it would be such a quick delivery though.
She got up and walked over to me.
"I brought it for you...is that okay?"

She seemed a little nervous.
I still had no idea of who this girl was, so I decided to just ask.
"What's your name?"

Instead of asking directly for her class, I decided to take the long way. To not only find out her class, but her name as well.
She had been spying on us, after all.

"Hiyori Shiina."

"Can I see?"
I gave the book to Yuuichi, who seemed to be interested in the girl, and what the hell she was doing here.

He gave the book back to me, after inspecting it a bit.
It seemed Hiyori wanted to talk to me more, but both Yuuichi and Chiaki were giving glares.
She took notice of this.
"Okay I'll be going now."

She smiled at me, and started to walk off.
Yuuichi grabbed her arm from behind.
"Ow! My ar-"

"Do me a favor would you? I made a deal with Ryuuen. You aren't supposed to be here.
Would it kill you people to follow my steps!?"

"Ow! Please let go!"
She tried to yank her arm away, until he released it.
As she made her way out of the hallway, Yuuichi seemed to go back to being tired.
Chiaki seemed rather unsurprised.
"Hey, Ayanokoji."
