━━━━━━༻♛༺━━━━━━"So...my loyal and smart informant...what do you know about Slytherin's super secret chamber?" I asked cheekily as I plopped down in front of Visha in the train compartment.
After yesterday's New Year celebrations, I was quite ready to conclude our little holiday and return back to Hogwarts. I had packed eagerly and quickly the following morning, counting down the minutes until I could be out of the confines of the Avery manor. That morning we had left the house, and not once had we shared a word or even a mere glance with Riddle. The distance between us was painfully obvious. While we usually spent our time bickering and fighting, now all that remained between us was an uneasy silence. Malfoy and I had not spoken either. He had attempted to catch my eyes quite a few times, but I could not be bothered to listen to all the bullshit he would spout.
As soon as we boarded the Hogwarts Express, I had not wasted a second before separating from my Slytherin companions, ignoring the disappointed looks I received from Avery and Wal at my departure. I had been too eager to find Visha and speak with her.
"Hello to you too, Arwen. Oh yes, I am quite well, how about you? My holidays were quite pleasant thank you." The girl replied sarcastically. Despite the mock offence on her expression, I could see her fighting back a smile that lit up her face. Her autumn-brown skin glowed radiantly as she shifted in her seat so the sunlight would land upon her skin. I secretly admired her ethereal beauty.
I gave her a dirty look. "You really wish to exchange pleasantries?"
The girl tutted disapprovingly. "Alright, alright. Let us dive straight to business." She pushed her expertly braided hair over her shoulder as she leaned forwards on her seat. "It is rumoured that Salazar Slytherin had made a secret chamber in the hidden depths of the castle for himself before he left Hogwarts while he was feeding with the other three founders. It is said that he kept a monster there which would purge the school of those undeserving to be there."
Muggle-borns.
"Do you know where it might be located?"
She mulled over the possibilities before she shook her head. "Nope. Never heard anybody speak of it."
I hummed to myself, looking out the window at the moving scenery with deep contemplation. A secret chamber no one knew the location of. How would I find it? Perhaps I'd have to suck it up and ask Avery for help, but I could not determine the true nature of his motives. He was not wholly devoted to Riddle it appeared, but was he loyal to me? Presumably not. Perhaps this all was a masterfully crafted ploy to get into my pants.
