My soul has been lost deep in the sea for as long as I can remember, longing to sense the feeling of being grounded once again. Before my soul had been led astray, I had been in the divine cosmic flow of the universe. In the eternal, black time-space, in the very ether of our universe, out there in blessed expanse, I felt the good force as if it were another kind of light. Not even for a moment I doubted the immense power flowing through my veins would lead to my demise.
It all started with the seven covens. The Aeternevis. On the first crescent moon of each month, the Megistani of each coven met in the castle where Merlin had taken his own life, leaving his legacy to seven women, who created their own covens. Each had been blessed with a gift, a power that none possessed. However, to awaken that dormant magic, an heir of Merlin had to allow seven drops of their own blood to be given to each Megistani. For centuries, an heir would give their blood in exchange for the rule over the covens, that was until my mother was killed, leaving my sister and me to be taken and raised in another world unknown to us, where we believed we were just innocent souls with an unfortunate life.
In a desperate attempt to keep their magic, the seven Megistanis had decided to go on a quest and find the firstborn daughter of Isabelle Laurent, slaughtering countless souls in an attempt to find their way to me. And they did.
I had willingly allowed them to extract my blood, knowing this was my purpose in life, however, I never expected the Megistanis, all except for two, to drop dead as soon as their dagger touched my skin. I had been horrified and panic-stricken, therefore I fled the castle without a glance back.
The covens, now left without their leaders, had decided to go into hiding, terrified of whatever had managed to kill the five most powerful beings to roam the Earth.
I never knew what occurred that night, until my dormant powers started awakening.
With the covens gone in hiding, I lost my purpose.
And that was when Albus Dumbledore found me.
