Sadie's POV:
Please no. Please let me wake up.
"You really tried to stay away, didn't you?" The deep voice growls.
I slide my hands into my hair, gripping my fingers to the roots to try grasp me from this nightmare. My eyes clench shut as tears seep through the closed seal.
"You're not real." Is all I manage to choke out.
"But I am baby, I am, and you know it." I can just feel the grim smirk plastered on his face.
My lips begin to quiver as I slowly open my eyes, my fingers still tangled in my hair.
He's gone.
I look around the bathroom, frantically dropping my hands and backing into the sink. The hand dryer causes me to squeal from the sudden gush of air I set off. My hand smacks onto my lips. More tears begin to spill from my eyes and before I know I'm sobbing.
"Please stop." I quiver through my cries as I stare into the blank space.
"Please."
I feel my legs about to collapse under me, I quickly spin my body to lean myself on the sink. My eyes make contact with the drain, causing me to get lost in the rusting specks appearing.
"Am I going insane? What has he done to me?" I ponder and my knuckles turn white from the tightening grip I have on the basin.
My lips release a shaky breath as I slowly bring my head upwards to face my reflection.
Caleb?
His face appears behind me with a knife in hand. My body flips around as a loud murderous scream escapes my lips. My legs collapse causing me to crumble to the floor.
"Please no! Please I'll do anything!" I scream through my tears as my face buries itself into my knees.
"Please!" My body shakes.
"Sadie?" I hear through the bathroom door.
It's Caleb.
"I'm sorry please!" I continue to scream.
I hear the bathroom door swing open causing me to slightly jump. I feel two arms make their way around my body.
"Shh, shh it's okay." I hear whispering in my ear.
My body jolts back in fear, my hands catching me before I fall onto my back. Finn looks at me in pure shock.
Finn's POV:
What's happened?
"Sadie, Sadie it's me." I shyly reassure, slowly brining my hand to her knee.
She flinches but allows me to make contact with her.
"Your okay. I promise your safe." My voice is low, my eyes not breaking away from hers.
Her tear stain cheeks and puffy eyes give me the impression she's been crying for quite some time. I'm not going to ask her right now what over, clearly, she's still distraught. My body slowly makes its way closer to hers, but not too fast that she freaks out. I slowly wrap my arms around her as I feel her stiff body relax and mould into my embrace. I feel her cries in my chest so vividly it feels like I should be crying. Her body jolts up and down as she tries to catch breaths between her sobs.
"Your okay Sade's. I promise." I whisper as my hand naturally caresses her head.
"I promise."
"H- he was right there, I swear." She chokes out between her sobs.
"He's not here, I promise Sadie." I reassure as best as I can.
"I'm never letting him touch you again."
Even if it kills me.
