Make It Easy, Tell Me I Never Mattered
⚠️TW⚠️
Sadie's POV:
I stare at Finn in shock. Tears forming in my eyes, ready to stream down my cheekbones at any second. I figured he's here too see me and not just throw rocks at my window.
I don't care what or how I look. I'm too. Numb. To really give a fuck. Plus, its Finn. I walk down my stairs and to my front down, trying my best to wipe the excess tears off my face. I take a deep breath in, turn the door handle and open the door. The breeze hits my pale face as I make eye contact with him. I'm bare foot and wearing and oversized shirt with. Knickers. That's it. I'm not. Well I am a bit embarrassed but also not really. I step out and walk to the end of my front porch. My face, still a little bruised from when Caleb slapped me. Not crazy bruised more of a tinge of red and purple. I stand about 3 metres away from Finn. We stand in silence. Comfortable silence.
"Sadie," He speaks.
"Is everything okay?" he questions, looking concerned.
"Finn I-" my voice croaks as tears fall down my face.
He comes walking over to me, embracing me in a hug. I sob. Loudly. Into his chest as he strokes the back of my head.
"Caleb cheated on me." I choke though my sobs.
"Sadie I'm so sor-"
I stop sobbing as best as I could and pull myself out of Finn's embrace.
I wipe my eyes and look at him.
"Don't be sorry." I simply say.
"I deserve it." I say with I sad smile.
I'm not saying that for attention, I truly believe it. I deserve this.
"Sadie wh-"
"Finn," I say, squeezing his upper arm.
"It's fine." I say, nodding and turning towards my door.
I can feel him still staring in disbelief.
"Do you want to come in?" I offer.
"What about your mum?" he says fiddling with his jacket zipper.
"At work." I say quite, bluntly.
"O- oh ok." He stutters, following me inside.
He steps inside, taking off his coat and beanie, dropping near the shoe rack.
"You can just chuck your stuff in my room, you know?" I say, staring at him placing his stuff on the floor.
"R- right okay" He grabs his stuff and follows me up my stairs.
I get to my door and remember.
Fuck Sadie, your rooms a mess because of Caleb! What's Finn going to think?
"Is everything okay?" Finn notices me, staring at my doorknob and not actually taking any action to move it.
"Ah y- yes." I didn't think. I was under pressure, so I swing my door open and.
"Wow." Finn whispers in shock after seeing the state of my room.
"Sorry it was Cal- my mum." I nervously say, playing with my dead ends.
He just looks at me, confused before placing his stuff on the end of my bed.
I sit on my bed, interlocking my fingers. I hiss at the feeling of my palm making contact with my other palm. I slowly open my hand the see the nail marks bleeding. Not a lot. Just a little.
Finn sat down next to me and observed my hand too. I notice. And shove my hands under my ass so he couldn't see.
"Sadie..." He begins.
"Mhm." I simply reply, looking downwards at my thighs.
"I know somethings up." He says, looking at me. Worried.
"N- no Finn I'm Fi-"
"No, you're not." He says stern. But in a 'comforting' way.
I don't reply, instead I just look straight ahead. I sigh. Loudly. Looking into his eyes.
"I just-" I begin.
No, no, no Sadie. Do NOT open up to him. Not to anyone. Don't.
"Yeah?" he exclaims.
"I, uh. N- need a smoke." I stutter racing over to my drawers, frantically looking for my pack.
"No, Sadie." Finn gets up and walks over too me.
"I swear they were in here!" I shout, throwing my clothes.
"Sadie." I ignore him. I need these smokes more than anything right now.
"WHERE THE FUCK ARE THEY!" I scream, hitting my drawer over and over again, my hands throbbing.
Finn grabs me from behind, locking my arms to my side.
"Let go of me!" I try to wriggle out of his grip.
"No Sadie I'm not letting you do this to yourself!" He yells back at me.
"Let me go! "LET ME GO!" I cry and scream.
I fight and punch his thighs, trying to get out of his grip.
My body gets tired as Finn's grip gets tighter and tighter the more, I push to get free.
I give up.
I cry.
"Finn. Please I need one." I sob as my body is slowly placed on the floor with Finn's.
"No, you don't need it." He says. Placing my body across lower abdomen.
He's sat on the floor, leant up against my bed as my head lays on his lower stomach.
I hit him. Not hard, I'm to weak.
"Sadie, this isn't going to make you feel better." He says, grabbing my wrist and interlocking his fingers with mine.
"Please." I sob.
"Please."
"Just one"
