Numb, Fine

⚠️TW⚠️

Finn's POV:

It's around 4pm now and Sadie has been asleep on my lap for around and hour and a half. I'm like, severely worried about her. I've seen her 'act up' in this past but, never THIS bad before. I've just been scrolling through my phones, I don't mind laying here, except for the fact I've been needing to piss really badly for the past 20 odd minutes. I look down at the ginger haired girl, admiring her freckles that a softly scattered across her cheeks. Watching as her chest rises and falls as she breathes.

"Sadie." I whisper, seeing if she's in a deep enough sleep for me to move her.

"Sadie..."

Nothing. No movement or anything. Perfect.

I softly pick her neck and shoulders off my lap and I manoeuvre my legs from underneath her. I lay here on her back on her floor.

She doesn't move.

I slowly get up and quietly make my way to her bathroom.

I don't look at the floor, instead I just make eye contact with myself in the mirror, seeing the scar on my lip from the accident I had recently. As I enter the bathroom, I step on fuck knows what. Maybe a hair clip or something. I cringe as I quickly lift my foot up off the ground. Then I see.

"A shaver?" I question.

I pick it up, examining why Sadie would have a broken shaver on her grou-

"Ignore that."

I jump out of my thoughts as I see Sadie standing directly behind me in the mirror reflection.

I turn around, my heart racing as I don't know what to say.

"I- I just was g- going to p- piss a-"

"Hand me it." She says, emotionless.

"N- no you don- its broken anyways." I say rubbing the back of my neck, walking over to the bin in her bathroom.

"Finn just give it to me!" She says as she comes towards me, snatching it out of my hand.

"Sadie what the fu-"

Too late. She pressed the shaver against her skin, making a deep cut across her forearm. She's not crying. Or hissing at the pain. She's just. Numb.

"SADIE!" I scream as I smack the shaver out of her hand before she makes another mark.

Her tired eyes stare at me as her face turns white.

"WHY SADIE!" I yell as I hold her body close to me, wrapping my hand out the cut she had just made.

I lay her back against my chest as I find the nearest shirt of hers to wrap around her arm.

"I'm tire.." Sadie mumbles as her eyes begin the roll back.

"Sadie no please don't close your eyes!" I say as I grab my phone off the floor, dialling 911.

"I just want to be numb," She cries.

"I don't want to feel anything."

I keep pressure on her arm as the blood starts seeping through the shirt.

"Hello, 911 what's the emergency?" An older woman speaks.

"U- uh hello my girlfr- friend has just sliced her arm open I need help urgent."

"Okay young man, we just need the address and we'll send someone straight away, is your friend still awake?"

Shit. I look down for a moment and see Sadie with her eyes closed. Still breathing but very, very slow breaths.

"T- the address is 32 Hawkins Drive and her eyes are closed but she's still breathing." I answer.

"Okay, we're sending someone now for you. I'll need you to wake them up for me and keep them awake as best as you can until they arrive." She says in a soft, calm tone.

I place my phone on speaker, placing on the floor next to me as I softly shake Sadie's shoulder.

"Sadie, babe I need you too wake up." I cringe at myself for saying babe to Sadie.

No response.

"Sade's please, wake up for me okay."

Nothing.

"Groan if your alive." I say, sternly.

She groans, very softly but loud enough for me too here.

"Ok I need you to stay awake for me please, can you do that?" I ask softly, stroking her hair.

"I want to go." She whimpers very softly.

My heart drops at those words. I don't even know what's happened for her to have a manic episode this bad. I know Caleb hitting her and cheating on her is not okay but, there has to be more too it. There has to be.

"No Sadie don't say that." I say to here.

"Please, let me go." She mumbles softly as her eyes shut again.

"No, no, no Sadie don't do this!" My voice raises as I try to keep her awake.

"Is everything okay Sir?" The lady on the phones asks.

"H-how far away is the ambulance!?" I say in a stressed and angered tone.

"About 2 minutes, you're doing great." She gives me reassurance, doesn't really make me feel any better.

"Sadie..." I say quietly.

I move my arm from her wrist to her pulse.

Its slow.

Very slow.

"Sadie no please stay!" I say. Lifting her body so she's cradled my arm.

Tears well up in my eyes and trickle down my cheek.

"SADIE PLEASE!" I choke through my tears.

"PLEASE!" I yelled.
